I devoted some of my time this morning to look through discussions I started when I was just starting on this site. I found out that most of the discussions I started before was about success, family and about online thing. But lately, I noticed that some of my discussions focused on specific individuals who drove me mad or annoyed me or about my complaints in life. I just realized that having this kind of discussions is not very good for me especially those discussions wherein it seems that I am complaining about this and that. I wouldn't want to think of myself as a person having full of complaints in life because life per se is something to enjoy and not to be complained about. This day I made a promise that I have to minimize, or totally get rid of these kinds of topics and concentrate on the good topics. Thank you every one for taking time to read. Have a nice day!

Yeah, I agree. It's better to focus on positive rather than negative. If you be bright you'll also attarct positive things to happen in your life, on the contrary having negative thoughts may attract something negative happen or that will also make you respond negatively in every situation which will makes situation to be negative either way.

You are right, friend. I thought about that when I decided not to tell everyone how much my lymphoma hurts. When someone asks me how I am, I answer: fine, thank you. Not many people want to listen to other people´s hurts and pains. So I spare mylelf the feeling that noone really cares. Everyone has something to complain about, there are all kind of things we don´t like. But, if we think up a little, our day is also full of nice things. Like, for instance, in this moment, I´ll go make a good cup of coffee and go to bet to watch TV for a while

Yes, friend and most of the time, if we think about the pains, the trouble the more we are attracting them to come into our life. Let's forget about the bad things and concentrate on the brighter part of life. thank you for sharing!

Well this is a great site to let off steam at all the things that make you mad or upset you. I was thinking earlier on today of all the things that were upsetting me and stressing me out last year and guess whet, they are the same things that are doing it to me this year. I am sure that there are a few good things that you can discuss on here that will also cheer you up, as well as us, life is too short to be angry or upset.

hello Aries, I understand that, the more you complain the more it stresses you in many ways. While thinking positive gives you more peace and serenity within yourself. Yes, instead of focusing on bad and negative things, it is better to concentrate on better and positive things of life.

Yes, negative thoughts like complains attracts negative energy. It is not healthy physically and spiritually. I too looking towards a more positive life even I am now at the crossroad. I am jobless with no income at the moment, a so called breadwinner of the family. However, I submitted to God, believing that He will provide me with a perfect job that is suitable for me. He knows best! We should look at life positively. In actual fact there are abundance of opportunity if we really look for it as my favorite verses said, "Seek and you shall find, knock and it shall upon unto you, asked and it shall be given unto you!" All the best, stay healthy, be happy and God Bless you always!

Hello, It's alright to have discussions like these, maybe it's a state of mind you were having during those days. I find it refreshing that you've managed to step back and take a look at what you've started and is now making a self-correction, though really, there's nothing wrong with those topics.

What you were doing with those discussions was trying to release the stress you were feeling at that time. It's similar to when you'd sit and vent or complain to a friend face-to-face or on the phone. Sometimes we just need to let things out, or else they'll eat us up inside. By your recognizing what was happening to you within those discussions and vowing to make a change, you're growing. MyLot became a cyber diary of sorts for you.

Yeah right just focus on the positive side of life but sharing complains, pains and hurts could somehow helps to moved on in life, learned and see the positivity on it and trying to be a better person. Releasing those kind of thoughts and feelings could somehow help to lighten the burden inside and realize that it is better to be happy and positive in life rather than prolonging the agony and pain inside.

Yes, life is to be enjoyed more than to be endured. It depends on how we respond to life's circumstances around us. One way to live is complain that roses have thorns or another way is to be thankful that thorns have roses. It is always a show of personal growth and development when we decide to become the best we can be in what we do or dream to become. I appreciate you for promising yourself to concentrate on good topics.

I guess some people "would like to see the world burn" if you understand where I'm getting at. I remember feeling awful. Emotions are fairly interesting though.. whatever you currently feel has enough power to simply "rub" off onto others.. Good luck on keeping optimistic!

yeah. no one like to hear someone complaining about his/her life so badly. we all want to be happy. so why infect others with our problem..? if you want to tell us your story you should be calmed and tell it without complaining so bad. have a nice day too :)
