how does it feels to be a first time mom?

I just felt excited but I felt different with being a second time mom.

First thing you will feel is excited and very happy like its the first happiness you have in world compare to the happiness you have before, You will become emotional thinking that the baby is from your own blood and flesh, i used to stare with my baby with her face and always touching her skin as it used to be mine and put a smile on my lips, though scared to think of her future like what future will she have ahead of her specially without a father that's the reason why i work hard now and save a lot for her future as i don't want her to be lost. Im sad to think of other mother who leave their child to their parents as they get pregnant and the guy left them as it happened to me but i keep my baby with me. When my baby was hospitalized i heard a grandma with her grand daughter saying her mother left her and they're the one taking care of her and yet looking to my daughter i promise to myself that she will never loss me and she will never suffer a lot because of my mistakes as its my mistakes and i will be the one to correct it with my daughter. And so i love her with all my heart.

It feels great but exhausted to be a first time mom. I was happy when I first had my time but at that time I was so new to the motherhood and I always stressed out myself about taking care of my little one, always want to make sure everything was alright, she was fed, diaper was changed, prevent from getting sick etc. And all I knew was I love my baby, I am very happy to spend time with him everyday.

Being a mother is one of the hardest yet the most rewarding part in a woman's life. Though there maybe some difficulties that we encounter as we go on with our daily tasks, yet these things will be fade away when we see the very person who is the main reason for all the sacrifices...our child. A smile from our child is enough to take away all the pains associated with our being a mother.

of course it must be a wonderful feeling and yeah lot of responsibility also. I have not been a mom as yet but now I am trying to get one. lol.. must be amazing. yeah. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.

Hi Chloe My Youngest is now 17years old and my oldest 22years old. I remember very clearly though how it felt to be a first time mum. It is such a wonderful thing, but at the same time you can feel afraid, because it is such a big responsibiltiy, its natural to feel that way because you've never done it before, but you will be surprised at how quickly you develop the skills needed to become a great mother.

i felt the same way..we were excited when i had my first child..then i also was afraid and got worried that i may not perform the role of being a mother properly.. i asked quetions and advices from others, my mom was there to guide me also.. now that my kids are growing so does my worries.. i worry when they are at school, i worry when they are at my parents house i worry what will they be when they grow up..LOL! actually i worry a lot..
