Do you treat your officemates or making blowout at work during your birthday?

When it is your birthday at work do you bother to buy something to eat like calling the restaurant for the delivery, making blowout or at times you are going to the restaurant for you to treat those officemates?
Is there a time that you didn't bother to treat your officemates during your birthday? And why?
What was your officemates reactions when you weren't able to give them or treat them during your birthday?
In my case I remember there was a time that I brought the food in the office so of course they were able to enjoy it. But then there was a time when I am already in other company that I didn't bother to treat the people inside the office well since I was new there then I have no budget. But then people are still asking me that even junkfood at least I could give them. 
I have no regrets or I don't care what they say if I wasn't able to give them treat but then of course it was still my choice.

I did treated my officemates on my birthday on my previous job. We were only very few so that wasn't really a problem. There was even one time when I brought in some food so we can all share and enjoy. But now, with my current job, I don't bother treating them nor bring food, our company gives us cake on our birthdays, that is what I share to them. I could save a lot with the company giving us cakes on our birthdays.

It is not a common practice here in the office, but some do treat us when it is their birthday. i don't because i am not the boss and i do not need to treat anyone. my friends, i can treat them but i usually bring them food any time even without occassion. :D

I used to treat them during my birthday but luckily some of my clients and suppliers sponsored my treats that's why I don't need to use my own money. Thanks to them.

yes!! :] i spend 8 hours of my weekdays (Mon-Fri) for the whole year with my office mates :] i don't just consider them office mates but more of extended family.. so like having a celebration at home, i wanna have at least a mini celebration with my office mates too. yep..call the resto and have the food delivered.. :D and oh.. i have another diff. celebration with my church mates too..
but as you've said- it'll always be your choice. you can't force urself to buy when u know u don't have budget.. :D there will always be next bdays! ;)
