The idea of having vacation or traveling during holy week

Usually when there is holy week that is the time that some people who are working can rest, do the religious practices and even having their fasting, sacrificing, and other usual things during holy week that has something to do with church. Though on the other hand it is also time for people to have excursion, there so many people who are having vacation in Boracay that is why during those times it is becoming too much of crowd, traveling around the world, can do the sidelines and other more activities that is not totally related to religious practices or church. There are times even the Catholic ones are not following the practices that they shouldn't eat meat during Friday or the Good Friday itself. So have you ever experienced of having vacation and travel to other country during holy week? I could understand why others do that instead of doing the religious practices. It is because that is just the only time they can rest and instead of having a file of leave to have their vacation that could be the only chance they can use it to avoid absences as well. I have this thought that someday I want to do that and I want to know the feeling of traveling to other country when it is holy week.
