Should I call the SSC office or show up in person? I'm just afraid if I show up they will turn me away I don't know why it's just how I think. And also I don't have much documentations to get a new one all I have is an expired Virginian I.D and old documents for proof of my Virginia License, which is currently suspended, (long story). But anyways do you think they would accept my expired VA I.D and my proof of having a license as 2 forms of documents to get a new Social Security Card?

Is this a replacement card? If you know your SSN, you may not need one according to the SSA. Go to the link Akuseru_ provided, and see Replacement under Type Of Card. OR... ...are you trying to get a new number as the subject title indicates? If so, read this first: http://www.esia.net/Social_Security_Numbers.htm

I need a replacement card and I don't have anything, all my documents are in another state after my car got towed there and they said they handed my documents over to the police station, I'm hoping they haven't threw them away. I need my SSN asap so I can get a job, I have an I.D but it expired 6 months ago.

Do you know your SS#? According to the SSA: "You can replace your Social Security card for free if it is lost or stolen. However, you may not need to get a replacement card. Knowing your Social Security number is what is important." However you still need a valid ID to get a job. You can go to the VA DMV and request a non-driver ID. Have you tried to retrieve your documents from the police?
