I feel warm up matches actually makes the players ready. Irrespective of form , players need to get into the groove when they reach a tournament. I think these warm up matches help the teams to feel at home before the tournament. Please share your views and comments.

Yes, these really helps the teams to fit to the circumstances and they can know their weaknesses before starting the big tournament so that they can overcome those. I think India definitely learnt something today by losing the match against Pakistan.

the win and loss in warm up match don't matter, but it always give options for captain to test his players. It is good that India have two warm up matches.. today India have lost to PAk, but still we can find out the problems and rectify. and i think, India should play harbhajan and ashwin both in the team. fast bowling will not work for us.

i really do not feel that India need to get acclimatised to the conditions. they were in Sri Lanka recent for a series so they they should be well aware of the conditions. It seems that pitches will be conducive to batting and India lacks good bowlers going by the performance of the bowlers in today's warm up match.
