As I've mentioned before, I am helping my friend who is going to be the Maid of Honour in a few weeks! I started without knowing what I should do to help her, but now I've taken it seriously and we have started making a lot of choices for the wedding planning! This weekend we went to Athens to pick her dress and shoes, and we also found a very nice design for the wedding crowns! We also checked the flowers and the candles for the decoration. I had no idea how hard it is to plan all those details for a wedding! The bride has a baby and my friends has a huge responsibility for the planning because the bride can't do everything by herself since she needs to be at home for the baby! I also bought the dress that I am going to wear at the wedding, I wasn't planning to buy one but I found it in a good price and I think it fits well on me, so I decided to buy it! Next week we will finalize everything and only a few details will be left that need to be approved from the bride!

Yes, it's really exciting! It's also very stressful for my friend because she has more responsibilities that she should have at this point! But she likes it and I think everything is going to be very stylish and perfect!

Yes, her wedding dress is going to be ivory/beige and she wanted the wedding crowns to be golden! It's going to be wedding and baptism of her baby boy on the same day, so the colours will be light green and orange. It's a bit unusual as a combination but with the right choices it turned out to be very nice! The Maid of Honour's dress is going to be ready in 1 week, it still need some adjustments to fit her perfectly! I am going to post some pics after the wedding!

You should post a picture for us to see of the dress you bought to wear in her wedding. Having help for her wedding is so wonderful and helpful. I had no one to help me when I was preparing for my wedding. I did everything by myself. It was a lot of work. I was 19 when I got married. If I had to do it again I would do fancier decorations. Weddings are expensive and I was planning it on a very low budget.

We actually found some very nice offers for the dresses and the wedding crowns! But still, the budget for a wedding is high. Ok, I'll post a pic of my dress tomorrow, I want to take a good one in the daylight!
