I don't know why I didn't notice this until today . . .
but this is neat!
If you look on the right side of your screen you'll see what I mean **points and drags finger along the "similar discussions" part.** How neat is that! Now if I feel like it I can click on those from discussion to discussion and keep going for hours... **gets lost in her little imagination.** I could actually get lost in myLot cyberspace this way I think.
What was also great about is that I saw my own disussion on the site there when I found it!
Go me, I'll get some exposure and hopefully more replies to reply to and so on. I think I fell in love with you again myLot!

You mean that column over there? --
If discussions are tagged correctly then that column can be very useful indeed but I often wonder how many lotters ever glance over there and how many have never noticed it at all

There are still many who don't like others butting in but that is their problem surely? Isn't a discussion here open to one and all and everyone can say their piece?
There is certainly no rule anywhere about not butting in. Quite the opposite because we are specifically told by myLot to add comments which further the topic, in the FAQs - so there

Yes true myLot is great and all that you said but you leave me wondering - Did you actually read what I wrote about or saw the two words "myLot" and "Cool" and wrote based on that...
no offense or anything, just curious...

Echo, all I can say is good for you! I've never noticed all the different things on each page and I've been here a long time! Now I feel like such a dummy, hahaha! I'm glad you pointed it out so maybe I could cruise around a bit more when I find some discussion I like a lot.
As they say in baseball echo, good eye, good eye!!!

I guess mysd is right, some members like me don't notice these things. Glad I pointed it out then, and if people actually read what I wrote in this discussion unlike some people . . . they will benefit too!
"Cruising the Lot" is a term I like to use for what I do here too!
Great minds think alike huh?

I have seen them already and occasionally do look at topics that interest me. I do not see any reason why any one would miss seeing these large as life 'notifications'

Silly for us, apparently we just did not look around hard enough and missed them. There's more than just me who said they hadn't seen them either.

I don't know if this is consolation like you say or that it may make us all look more silly is all.

Yeah, I've noticed that feature and at times it has made me to stay here longer than I should... I'm so addicted to this site; I'd sacrifice my sleep, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and everything else that I could for it...
You're pushing 500 there; pretty soon you'll have another cool myLot privilege of copy/paste and uploading photos on your responses.

I am the same way! Maybe not sacrificing sleep and meals cause i love sleep and food... but I do put in a lot of time here and I don't regret it.
Am I? Today I've stayed at 494 (or whatever my number is) because I've been posting back and forth on the same discussions mostly or on the one's I have responded already but its been a great day of fun and I'm not too worried about my number

Yes, for some reason I noticed the "sidebar" right away when I first started 'myLotting' a few months ago. That makes me feel good, because there are so many other things on myLot that I DON'T know about...I feel like a myLot first grader
, but I'm learning!!

We all start somewhere! I like that myLot has so many things that you can actually feel that you are a ' first grader ' as you put it. This is one thing about the site that keeps me happy and like I am exploring something other than just being mind numbing like some places I go on the net. myLot is one deep place to discover but only if you allow it to be @KrauseHome (36445)

Yes, myLot is very addictive and a great place to be. There are so many ways you can really be active and post here depending on what interests you the most or time you have etc. But it is so easy to get lost in what you are doing here for sure.

Woo hoo!
New responses always make me happy. I really wonder how someone with so many posts - there's quite a few here in myLot - how they deal with all their posts. I can't imagine how to even go through so many pages of discussions to find which one needs responses from you... I guess if I ever get that high, I'll have to figure it out for myself!

Hi echo! Yeah I know that thing and sometimes I also opened some of those discussions, so many of them. The only problem I encountered so far is not having enough time. There is no dull moments in myLot. I even wanted to do more tasks but to no avail because of that reason.
Have a nice day!

Tehe! This will happen quite easily with us addicts on myLot like you and me and... others.. (add your name here) I haven't tried the tasks but I am far too busy writing to try them out, maybe one day, but the discussions are always endless...

Glad I could help you out. Seems I am not the only one who hadn't noticed but now we can all use this useful tool to our advantage! Happy venturing through similar discussions.

Hi friend, mylot is having a lot of unique feature, using the similar topic widget, we can easily find good topics and post our replies to them. I too use this option to find out the similar topics and post my reply to them
