Today I was up a little earlier than I'd like, my mom's boyfriend's niece (so future cousin) needed a tutor for math. this is what i love to do, i major in it at university and have lots of experience. i also enjoy tutoring kids in math, she was a teen.
plus, i need a job so now i have this tutoring gig to bring in a little extra cash. usually i charge $15 but for her i only charge $12/hr. im excited to help her out as well as the cash part. she seems like a good kid and very smart.
also, milo (the dog) really liked them coming over heehee he thinks its for him..

That is so nice. I cann´t tell this about my father, because he ran away with a girl younger than me. It was devasting.

monkmano, I'm glad to hear you sound happier lately. Spending time with your cousin, making a lemon cake and now tutoring! It must be great to be good at math. I totally suck at it. I can barely figure out that 7+8=um..18.
. Not a lot of people are good at math. The ones that are mostly are men. And you're a math major????? You're a unique individual! I hope your cake came out alright. Not greasing the pan can cause a real problem. It's nice to know that Milo likes company. At least he's a social little guy. I can see I needn't have worried too much about you. oh wow. what a great day and good news! :D Thank you so much for sharing this with us here in mylot. Its good you are able to get some tutoring jobs. I would love to have some of these, tutoring jobs with kids are really fun especially if you get to enjoy the time with them. :D have fun and goodluck to you!

yea, im not sure but if your in uni/college it is hard to get a tutoring job tutoring a fellow student but looking for a pre-calc etc high school student to tutor is a good idea. they still have interesting math (kids a little less so, they're fun in another way) but i think they're easier for a student to tutor.
i love tutoring kids, sometimes when they understand something for the first time their expression can be hilarious or priceless
