Maybe life's not about the answers anymore.

Maybe it never was. Maybe we're not supposed to know all the answers. Or maybe even any of the answers. Maybe we don't even want to know. But we keep searching. We keep searching for answers we not only will never find, but aren't even supposed to know. And why? It can't just be curiousity. There has to be a deeper meaning for feeling this incredible urge to find the answers. Do we somehow feel empty inside? Do we believe that the answers will fix our problems, or tell us what to do? Are we too scared to live life our own, and need some answers and direction, something or someone telling us exactly what to do. So we won't get anything wrong. But why such a huge fear for failure? It's all a learning experience. Live and learn, the saying goes. So why can't we just live, and learn? If we could all just let things be as they are, and go about actually living life, making a difference in this life right now, then maybe the answers won't even matter. Everything will all make sense one day. But until that day, we need to just stop asking. Have some faith. Trust that things will work out how they're ultimately supposed to. And forget about the answers, but don't forget the questions. Don't forget your reason for having questions. Don't forget the feeling of wanting to know the answer. Just live life. How you believe you're supposed to.

Or maybe it's a different goal for everyone, and you are now finding the answers for your questions and finally settling in your confidence. For me too life seems to have like a thousand questions less than years ago, where there seemed to be only confusion and doubt. Little by little they were answered and once we accept exactly who we are we calm down considerably.

Different for everyone.... never thought of it exactly like that. I do still find it difficult to know what I'm supposed to be doing in life, but I do feel more and more sure that I am at least going in the right direction. And that everything will just work itself out the way it's supposed to be.

Life is an experience to be lived, not a problem to be solved all the best, urban

Never mind what the answer is (some say 42). I'd like to know what the question is.

I would love to think there was some meaning to life as getting up for work every morning really is a bit of a pisser. It would be great to wake up with a purpose that meant making a difference. Until then life is about having a laugh, looking after the kids and having a few drinks so i can behave like a total moron and not care. Sometimes i wish i had been born a dolphin.
