The Wait, It's Killing Me

Every day of the last few days seems to be so slow because of the fact that I'm waiting for something to be confirmed. I'm actually losing my patience. I'm now having the feeling of being turned down. Why is it taking so long? Why oh why? I don't know how to feel really. There's a hint of hopelessness or I'm just so excited to see or to have it in my hands. When you are waiting for something so important to you, how do you deal with the waiting time? Cheers!

They say patience is a virtue. Whenever I have to wait for something, I try to discipline myself. You never want impatience to be a reason for why you did not get what you should have waited for. I am not saying that it is easy to wait, but for things that are worth the wait, just wait. Allow your patience to be rewarded.

Very well said, adforme. I'll just have to wait patiently to victoriously accept the reward. Maybe, if there's no waiting I won't be able to learn to appreciate it's prize.

Exactly, waiting is a test sometimes to see if we are able to allow time to tell its truth.

I can somehow relate to this. I am also currently waiting for something to get confirmed and approved. The waiting also gets to me especially if I have to be always ready to go once they sent word that it is okay and I am good to go. To pass by the long waiting, I've been keeping myself busy all the time just to try to keep it off my mind. Otherwise, I'll go insane, lol!

Same here. Well I'm just trying my best to be positive at all times. Just hoping that the answer to our waiting will be in so soon. Cheers!

It always seems that it is taking longer when we are waiting for something that we really want.Anticipation! It is so hard to deal with. I try to keep my mind on something else. But,sometimes it's really hard because it seems everything is connected to whatever I am waiting on.For example. If I am waiting on being approved for a loan for a car and I try to find something else to think about,so I think about the class I am going to take. Then I remember that I cannot take the class unless I get the car because the bus doesn't go there. Try to find something not connected to think about and good luck.

The apprehension kills me! In order for me not to think about it too much, I make myself busy instead. That way, I could still do more work and be productive.

It really kills me to make me wait for something that i do care a lot.I feel time being so hard to go through. So i'm going to find something else to make myself distracted.lol, and of course it works.Hope this advice also works for you, friend.Just keep a right attitude.

My brother is like your case, I saw in him the excitement and hopeless. :( I really feel bad to see him like that. So, I told him to have patience in waiting and everything will be on the right time. For the meantime, enjoy what you have right now and don't stress out yourself in waiting so long and find a hobby that you'll love to play or to do. I know this hard to do but this is the right way for not getting bored while waiting.

I am with you, I am not at ease of waiting. I should know it right away. Have a nice day!
