Being so passionate over something

There are some subjects on social networks that I am so passionate about that I won't back down from. I'm not saying I won't disagree, but I try to only voice my opinion and not force them to believe what I believe. I'm open minded to what any person believes/thinks, but I don't have to change the way I think/believe just because people don't agree with me. What things are you so passionate about mylot friends that you will really debate about?

I am a Catholic and anyone that imposes on me negative things about my religion surely hears from me. I may belong to different religions but I don't think any one of those would suggest us to do bad things, right? The only difference is how we call our God, who is one and the same.

Don't you just fuse up whenever you see them say things that seems to be twisting the truth?

Oh,totally I agree with you. When someone curses in God's name I become very passionate/defensive.

Hey there are many things that i am very much passionate about and i always make it a point that i go in the right direction to achieve my passion in the best possible way. Now coming back to your thoughts, i agree to your point. Each one of us have a point to prove and also have the freedom to present our independent views. But w should present our views in such a way that we never hurt or contradict others and all others are convinced with our presentation and that is an art that most of us fail to master. What say?

Yes, I agree with you in going in the right direction and even maybe persuading a person. I remember back in high school I did a speech on abortion, how some people would use coat hangers and I guess maybe I was graphic, but people had to comment on my speech and I got several people who thought abortion was all right to decide that wasn't a good thing to do. I guess that's when having to much passion for something can be very powerful to some one that had had a different point of view.

A few political issues are what I would be passionate about..social issues that I think have been wrong for too long. I wouldn't change my mind for anyone. My beliefs are my beliefs....and others can have theirs. I don't try to change other people's minds...I respect their lives and what they believe in.

Sorry, I didn't make myself clear ravisivan! I'm passionate about children, say for example abortion. I don't believe in abortion. The only reason I would make abortion acceptable is when there is a risk of the baby or mother dieing. For any other reason, I don't think it's acceptable.

Hello STOUTjodee, greetings. If there something that I am passionate about, its about Religion. Like you I am an openminded person. I listen and respect everyone's belief and try to learn from them. If ever it comes to an argument or debate as you called it, my intention is to simply share my own or to bear witness at the most.
