I never had this habit of taking the snaps and photos until recently when i am going mad to take snaps of everything i come across. Recently i have been to Paris and Switzerland and i ended up taking over 5000 pics in a span of 5 days and i was astonished. But still i am happy that this habit of mine is able to refresh my fond memories and is sharpening my photography skills. i like to keep everything in a frame so i take many snaps. What about u guys? Do u love taking snaps and photos? Please do share your thoughts!

I'm sure you're using either a phone or a digital camera. It used to be you had to buy film that either had 12 or 24 exposures. When it ran out you had to buy more. With a digital camera or phone you can keep it saved in the device or download them to your computer. So it's easy to just keep snapping away. I still have a regular camera with pictures that I took years ago. there's still about 10 left before I can turn it in (if you still can do that.) My phone doesn't have a camera on it.

Hey thanks a ton for your response. Well yes u are absolutely right. i am using a phone as well as a digital camera to take the snaps as they are far more comfortable than a regular camera. a regular camera has so less memory and that too u have to change it every time u are done with the limit. Again u have to wait for days to take out the snaps. But the scenario is completely different in case of a digicam and a phone. i hope u will buy a good phone with an inbuilt camera so that u can capture as many pics as u can. What say?

I say it will probably use a digital camera. My phone doesn't take pictures. But now, even the most basic phone has a camera on it. So someday, i might have both. I will never go crazy and spend $100 on a camera, that's for sure.

Hey thanks again for your response. Well yes, even a normal cell phone is having an attached camera with it but it does not guarantee u a good quality snap. U can have either two choices- to get a good quality digital camera whose price starts from $100 or a cell phone with better quality photo capability whose price starts from $90 and once u have any one of them, u can carry on with your photography skills. What say?

Hey thanks a ton for your response. Well yes i love taking snaps and it gives me immense pleasure and solace in doing so. Yeah u are right. We should not be so engrossed in taking the snaps that we forget to enjoy the very beauty of the places that we have visited. The photography should be kept going but not at the cost of enjoying the trip or journey. What say?

Hey thanks a ton for your response. Well i can understand your situation very well as i too sometimes forget to carry my camera or cell phone with me to take the snaps and then i am left ruing myself. Anyways i love taking snaps of natural pictures like nature or historic places or natural expressions of people, etc. Great to know that u have lots of spots at your place and i suppose u are lucky enough that u can go anytime and capture the rare moments on your camera. What say?

I do like taking pictures too and I wish I had a better quality camera, but I can't pay the price that comes with the camera I wish to have. So looks like you could turn your habits of taking lots of pictures into a full time job, you sure would make some cash out of it. It is a good trade. One of my children wants to become a professional photograph. I think you should consider it too.

Hey thanks a ton for your response. Well yes, i do love taking snaps and capturing the rare and special moments on my camera. Yeah it is also important to have a good quality camera in order to get good quality snaps and i hope u will buy for u very soon in the future. Well seriously i have thought of turning my habit into a profession but i would love to give your suggestion a serious thought again. Great to know that one of your children wants to become a professional photographer and u should encourage his talent and ability. What say?

That's perfectly normal, we want those mainly for posterity purposes. We keep pictures to make good times or special occassions to get "documented". Nice to know, that there a lot of people who are into serious photography, that is enrolling to photography classes and the like. Hope I could have the time to attend such classes. Oh, by the way, I have several pictures housed in my new 1 TB storage box. I just love it. Thanks

Hey thanks a ton for acknowledging the discussion. Well yes u are absolutely right. Taking snaps is a very good way of capturing the rare and special moments on the lenses and thereby making it memorable that can be watched any time in order to relive those memories. Yes many people are nowadays into serious photography stuffs and now they have even taken it as a hobby and also as a professional. great to hear that u are also interested to take up such classes and i hope u will soon enroll and have a great time learning the nuances of photography. What say?

I also love to take photos everywhere. I always did, but had to choose the main things I wanted pictures off because you only got 24 pictures on a film. I don't know how I coped with that now. In a way I sometimes think it spoils things a bit though, because it is easy to focus so much on taking photos of everything that you miss out on actually seeing it while it is in front of you.

Hey thanks a ton for your response. Well yes it is great to take photos of everything around u but the restrictions are many especially for a roll camera. i would recommend u to get a digital camera or a good cellphone with an inbuilt camera so that u can take many photos as u want and with good clarity also. But yes i too agree with u that if u keep on taking the snaps then the enjoyment of watching the places is killed. in that case taking only 1 or 2 pics of that place is advisable. What say?

I think it has been a habit (or is it a disease? ) to be taking picture of my son wherever we go. It sometimes gets to a point that he is so annoyed to pose for me. But, I guess, I just want to keep a lot of memories of him from his childhood...

Hey thanks a ton for your response. Ha ha ha. i do not think it is a disease. it is just a passion, a habit of yours that u enjoy taking snaps. So nice of u that u are doing your job of taking the snaps of your son and that speaks volumes of your love for your son and i am sure he will soon realize the motive of your taking snaps. Hats off to u and please continue your passion for taking pics not everyone like u are crazy for taking the snaps. What say?
