Do you think people look better with or without a tan?

I do not, and never have been one to sit out in the sun to get a tan. I have fair skin but am inclined to get lots of big freckles from too much sun. LOL When I go outside, I wear a hat and put on sunscreen for protection. Sadly whilst a bit of a tan might look good, too much sun is also how people get skin cancer and we have such a high incidence of it here in Australia.

Howdy FeralWoman I feel I look better with a tan and that makes me feel better with a tan. I know lots of people that I would say look far better in the summer than they do by the end of winter. :) Then you have those that go way over board and look aweful. Way too much tan and damage to their skin. My wife never tans for health reasons and she looks great to me.

Personally - I would love to have some color to my skin as I am fair and since I don't ever wear makeup - I hate having any pictures taken because I look so light - they just don't look as good to me as if I had some color. But what can you do - I am not sure about the Fake Bake - or those lotions you can use to get some color. Yet I so love being out in the Sun - when it's actually out during the day. I love the Summer kind of look with being a lil bit red and some brown too!!!

I think it all depends. Not every one looks good with tanned complexion. I personally prefer myself be fair.

It's hard to say, it seems every person has his/her own beauty, some people look great with tan and some look just as great with white skin, overall tan seems to look more healthy and lively on most people.

I think people with very pale skin look better without a tan. I think everyone else needs a little color!
