I'm addicted again.

Or I will be. I can't help though, I love to read what others have written, it helps me figure out my own stories though I never do publish them online or otherwise. Fictionpress.com is what I am talking about, and I've talked about it here before as well. I got an email for an update on a story the other day, and I read through another story from the same author. I love to read different stories, it's free and just so much fun. Do you have an online addiction that's not like any other?

I don't have any real addictions online except for myLot. I looked at that site and it looks pretty interesting. I didn't see an "about us" link. I wish I knew more about how it works.

It's not really an online site to make money from. It's a site where you submit your stories etc for others to read. Some have gotten published from there, but not sure if it was because of the exposure on the site. I'd love to be published one day but sometimes I pen erases what I've wrote if you know what I mean. For me, fictionpress was and is a place to escape.

When I get into the mood to read sometimes the choice is between here and mylot. I can pick up a book and read it and the closer I get to the end of it the slower I read because I don't want the book to end.

That site looks a lot like the fan fiction site - I suspect they are run by the same folks... http://www.fanfiction.net/

Yes they are and at one time I think they joined together, dissolving fictionpress but I believe because of the high demand fictionpress came back as a separate entity.

I wish I had a kindle but then I fear you'd never see me again as I love to read and when I get into the spirit of it, well my whole mind goes into the poetic side! Fictionpress has a lot to offer readers and it's just a world of it's own. It may draw you in.

I am addicted to this site as well as clix sense. I am trying so hard to make extra money for Christmas. I have not checked out fiction press, but it does sound interesting. Do people get paid for posting stories because if that is the case I have a few stories I can publish. I also am addicted to amazon. I love to buy things whenever I have the money.

I wish fictionpress had something like that but it doesn't. I'm almost afraid it'd ruin the site. A few authors have written on the site a story then retracted the story after getting it published, so in a way it's a place to make money, but not in the true sense. I do love looking at amazon but I try not to as I have an itchy buyers finger ya know.

Hi somecowgirl! The only place I got addicted so far is with myLot. I just can't let the day pass without dropping by. I love it here. That is why every moment I would always think of ways that would make my stay worth. Have a nice day!

I used to be the same as you, going out even on the town and enjoying myself, but coming back with five or six discussions. At the time I'd share it with an ex that used to be a mylotter here. I do understand the addiction to this great site and the great people...
