Leaving so soon..

Maybe one of these days I will be leaving everything behind. I have applied to work abroad since January. I have this feeling that maybe its only a matter of months away and I have to packed my bag & bid goodbye. It's so hard to leave when everything I have here is great, first my family,my workmates, my job.What should I do to prepare myself from this? I can't help but feel a little bit worried.Please advise me :((

Did you get a job offer already? Are you already issued a contract to work abroad? How long is it going to be?
If you have great things going on in here, then what made you apply for work abroad? You said you even have a great job so I just can't get why do you have to leave for work.

It is hard to leave important people behind most especially your family. But just think of it this way---you are given an opportunity that maybe a once in a lifetime chance of going to another place that promises you a better future. And with this opportunity, you will be able to help your family as well. You just need to be strong in facing new people and challenges. It is all for your own good.

maybe you should ask yourself why you applied for work abroad in the first place and if your reason is still the same. then when you receive an offer, know all the terms about it, is the pay worth it, do you really like the work, what are the benefits, how soon can you visit. then discuss with your family. good luck!
