I think it's gonna trigger (hope not) conflicts especially everyone has something to say about this.. It may create arguments when people of diff. religion talk about it.. :( If the director made a mistake..it can't be corrected by another mistake of killing people.. Hope God give everyone wisdom about this matter.. :/

This is nothing knew. Its common and normal in Islamic nations. There's a million dollar bounty on the head of Salman Rushdie, the booker prize winner. He once wrote a book called Satanic Verses, which the Muslim clergy believe to be blasphemous in nature. The Iranian president offer the reward for Rushdie's head. So a reward for the killing of the film maker is no surprise. Most Muslims will think that it is right to kill such a person because the clergy said that they have insulted Islam. What is interesting to note is, ask the common Muslim how Satanic Verses and/or this film has hurt Islamic sentiments, they won't be able to answer. They just blindly follow whatever their religious leaders have to say. Right or wrong. They will never apply common sense or analyze the situation and try to find out and understand the guilt committed by such authors and film makers. They just know that such creative people are wrong because their religious priests say so. Thus, they have to get violent, they have to riot, damage public property, kill innocent people who have nothing to do with the film. And then when the world calls them violent, they feel bad about it and will protest again. The cycle goes on. I personally feel that all these are a misunderstanding. Everyone has a freedom of speech and expression. If you didn't like what the other said. They apply for an injunction. Ban things legally and not take law in your own hands. Things should be dealt with maturity. If humans start to fight for every issue, then what difference remains between humans and wild animals!? Violence was/is/and will never be the solution to any dispute. I think we should all come together and help each other and set aside differences. Work together to make a better future and not fight over age old disputes. As tough times are to come ahead if we don't join hands. But alas, this desire will only remain as a non-realistic dream. Good day!

I wouldn't like it if someone made a movie like this about Jesus, but I wouldn't put a bounty on the head of the movie's director. The Muslim cleric is showing the world that what this movie says about Muslims is the truth.
