Guys, just wanted to share this really great home remedy for clearing out pimples and lightens pimple scars/dark spots. (Maybe you guys already know about this :D but still i wanted to share my experience) I am usually hesitant to use Fresh Lemon for my skin since I have sensitive skin and I don't want my skin to get dry and maybe gives me more pimples but somehow i still end up trying to do this remedy :D I use Fresh cut Lemon's juice 2 times a day every morning and evening after cleaning my face with a facial cleanser then I apply a little bit of lemon juice on my pimple or in my dark spots (add a little bit of water in the lemon juice to avoid the super sting of the lemon and won't burn your skin). Then leave it for 10-15mins and wash :) Apply sunblock (for morning when you want to be exposed to sun) and moisturizer after. You can see the results within a week :) I have a lot of dark spots from pimples in my chin but now it is more lighter and smoother with no pimples :) HORRAY!!! Lemon really made me happy :D

Wow I have never heard of this method before! I currently use Clearasil wipes and moisturizer and it does an OK job but it doesn't get ALL of my pimples. I currently have a big pimple emerging on the tip of my nose that hurts like heck! The price of Clearasil products has slowly been rising so I am definitely going to buy some lemons to try this once my remaining clearasil acne products are all used up.

Oh? really? i have searched a lot of good reviews about lemon juice and when I started using it, it really made me say "YES! Atlast! My pimples and dark spots are gone!" Yup! You should try it too but be sure to not let the lemon juice burn your skin and just add a little bit of water to it or i have also read an article that you can add lemon juice with the facial cleanser you are using. :)

I didn't realize the lemon juice could actually burn your skin! Would those lemon juice bottles work or are actual lemons better?

I suggest you use lemon juice from fresh lemons. Ah yes, it can since lemon juice is kinda strong. :) but there are also some who don't add water in it. ^^ Just make sure to put just a little of water and not too much :)

I have heard of this remedy for pimples before, and I have also heard and used toothpaste for pimples too! I used to get them really bad as a teenager and into my early 20's. I don't get them as much now that I'm old, but when I do I usually alternate methods just so it's not so harsh on my skin as it is pretty sensitive and gets irritated easily.

Yes that's right! Regular toothpaste will dry out the pimple and get rid of it sooner! I have used it a few times when I didn't have anything else in the house to get rid of it with!

Oh~ I have heard about toothpastes too. But I haven't tried it yet. they say use toothpastes on pimples to dry up the pimple. But be sure not to use the whitening toothpaste :D

I used lemon as a facial mask before. I mix lemon juice with oatmeal and massage it on my face and let it there for 30 minutes. The oatmeal scrubs the skin in a not too abrasive way and the lemon lighten the pimple scars and the skin itself. I did it once a day and within one week, I noticed my pimple scars has gone lighter too and my face looked brighter.
