Update on cleaning my pot

well I thank everyone for all their suggestions and I went with the easiest, I boiled the pot that had hard maple syrup that became taffy with water and everything came of easily. Thanks again everyone

That is the usual thing I do whenever I have the same. It just the only way of getting rid of the hardened maple syrup off of the pot.

hey glad that worked out for you. i know i suggested you do that. we have fondues several times during the winter and that is what we do to get all the cheese and stuff off the bottom of the fondue pot.

Good to hear they came off, I know it can be so tricky. I would of recommended if that didnt work to try vinegar and water. I hate using heavy cleaner on anything that me or the animals eat from pr walk on.
