This is our last Monday on this place. We attended the Flag raising ceremony at the covered court of the municipality at exactly 8 o’clock am. After the ceremony, we went up the stage for the formal turn-over of documents to the honorable mayor (head of municipality). Each of the members of the group rendered his/her thanksgiving and farewell speech to the crowd. When it came for my turn, I cannot really control myself to become emotional. I said I am both happy and sad. I am happy because despite all the struggles and problems that came along our way, we were able to make it through the end. Sad, because I will surely miss them. I also pointed out that with my 3 months stay on this place, I learned a lot of things and I can say that I was able already to adapt to their way of living. Generally, I can say that I was blessed to be assigned here because the people are very supportive and accommodating.
They all laugh when I mentioned that one of the greatest things that happened to me here is when I discovered my talent here in their place. . .dancing.
I use to think that it would be hard for me to adjust to the people of this place, little did I know that saying goodbye will be harder.

Hi ricki! Yes and I am happy about it. The only thing that make me sad is the fact that I have to leave my new found friends. But everything that I've learned from the place will be of great help for me as I continue with my life.
Thank you for responding.

Farewell, goodbyes is one of the hardest part in our lives.
Even with short acquaintances,it gives a little pain leaving friends or the place.
We learn a lot of things from people that become a part of us, regardless of time.
Maybe you can visit the place again...when you have time

Yes, I was able to adjust on their kind of living and I have found several friends already. Although at first I am really keeping some limitations because I know I won't be staying for long but because they are so kind, I've learned to be close to them.
Well, life must go on. I will always remember them. Thank you for sharing, jaiho.

Saying goodbyes is always hard to do.
With great things that you have done for three months will surely take away the sadness of goodbye.
For sure they will miss you too as you misses them.

I know that they will miss us. I still had my last dance performance with them yesterday on the Civil Service Day and they told me how they will miss me.
