I think I watched this movie with my friend, both of us in our early teens in the 70's, a few times. Olivia newton John was really lovely in this movie and John Travolta was just awesome. And to this day, when I hear the song "Grease Lightning" aired in the radio, I still feel my legs getting itchy to dance like them, lol. Those were the days!

Yes I still remember Grease! How could I forget? They just had it on tv the other day and my husband and I were watching it and singing along with it. A couple of years ago it came to theaters with the song lyrics put up on the screen so you could sing along with it, even if you forgot the lyrics. We went and saw that in theaters too and it was awesome. The whole audience was singing together. I consider this movie to be a classic. I was about your age when this came out, I think I was about 10 - 12 years old at the time this movie came out. Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

Yes it's considered classic now, both actors are already in their 50's and 60's. I like to watch it in the theater too but we don't have that over here. Thanks and happy mylotting to you too!

I was about 9 when Grease came out. All my friends got to see it before I did.I got the soundtrack before I saw the film! I Finally saw it in May1976! I used to remember the exact date! It was worth the wait. I had the biggest crush on John Travolta! The song that stays with me is Hopelessly Devoted To You. That was my favorite!

Yes, I remember it quite well. I was in my teens too then, and i was really fascinated with the awesome attires especially the greased hairdo, lol! I just love the part when Olivia was the wholesome sweet girl, but in the end wherein she changed, i really got disappointed.

At the end of the movie, Olivia wore the tight black blouse and pants. Yeah, I know what you mean, they made her modern too soon.. it's probably to match Travolta's clothes which was also black. I was, well a little bit dissappointed too but since I like the songs, so it turned out ok for me in the end.

Yes it's a very good musical movie but it's not really that important you know. I mean your last few words sounded so pessimistic so I feel like consoling you. Saaaaandy....oh Sandy...

I remember the movie. I lived through those times and it was not as happy as detected. They sort of romanticized those times. I also saw the sequel and remember what it was like then. Did like the music and the dances though.

There is no need to "remember" Grease when I am sure it comes on tv at least once a month. I can't guarantee that it is actually on once a month but I know that it is a classic that tends to pop up often. I love Grease and I saw it first in the 90s. There are probably people even younger than I am that know the words to Summer Nights. Rizo is my fav in the film and I used to sing There Are Worse Things I Could Do. I don't remember all the words but I am sure I can hit youtube or netflix and sing a long
