I ended having to buy a new digital camera recently cause my other one would not start up. I got the same one I did before from someone on eBay. This time though the 8 GB card won't work, it says it needs to be reformatted so I do that through the camera option it has and then it says that the camera is not good & to insert another one. I use the 2GB card now. I wanted to take some video maybe and it says on the camera there is 56:45 next to the storage icon, so how much exactly is this in minutes of video time or how much should it be with 2 GB of storage? I was grateful for this as my other camera wasn't set up to have that long of a video session, something was wrong with it amoung the settings I guess. It's an older type of digital camera with only 5 pixels but I still like to use it, cause it's very easy for me to understand. Kodak EasyShare C533 and it's not made anymore.

Hi, That's 56 minutes and 45 seconds of video time on a 2GB memory card. I have the same amount of storage in my DSC. Be mindful of the battery time. Some power source just conks out in the middle of video sessions if not charged fully. I recon you have a High Def video on a 5 MP resolution, if that is the case, ou have a good unit there.

Hi rog. That is what I thought, it just sounded so long to me. You're right on the battery thing, so if I take a long video like that then I need to put in some fresh batteries, I suppose. Thanks again for the thumbs up! ( I'm not sure of the high Def 5 MP resolution thing though, how do I find that out?)

Now I will know not to buy a digital camera of Kodak EasyShare C533. I guess it will be better to just buy a totally new camera from a store and have the warranty with it. My father also bought a digital camera from a store that was not a formal store. The camera didn't work and the warranty was not valid. If you look at Youtube, you will see movies with their length. I can tell you for sure that with Kodak camera, you will be able to record movies with some minutes of length and even in a dark area with low light. That I know from a photographer from the salsa club that records some videos and uploads them to the Facebook account. Good luck with the camera and if you got an interesting video, I will be happy to watch it on Youtube.

The first EasyShare Kodak camera actually lasted me a long time, at least 4-5 years. I took alot of photos and some videos with it. It was just that I wanted another camera like it cause I was so used to it is all, it is a pretty good camera afterall. I will take a look on youtube and see what the length means on there, thanks for the suggestion.Never thought of that. I have a few short vids on there but nothing that interesting, taken with the old camera that I didn't get alot of length with as far as video storage.
