Having some pain around the knee can be very discomforting. However that can be handled with painkillers but not Osteoporosis! This condition is very difficult to handle and thus needs expert advise on how to treat or live with it. What would be your advise on how to live with the condition?

I would start taking magnesium. And calcium with plenty of vitamin D to insure that the calcium is absorbed properly. I would do a lot of research into natural remedies, as the medications for osteoporosis can and do create other problems. There is some conflicting information regarding phytates and whether they help or hinder the condition in regards to calcium absorption. I would change my diet to a more alkaline one and try to avoid an acidic diet. Check your ph level to determine if your acidic level is too high. And I would find a medical doctor that also practices holistic medicine. And I might visit this site www.earthclinic.com/CURES/osteoporosis.html I hope this has helped a little.
