taking care of your body...superficial?

I admire women who find time to go to the gym even if they have a bussy job and maybe even a family. I'm a student right now so I would have plenty of time to go to the gym but I"m to lazy. whenever I decide to start working out this only last for like 3-4 days. I have a teacher at college: jesssusss how she looks...she's extremly pretty and fit; she often gets mistaken with students

I would not call taking care of your body superficial. I would call it healthy. We have only one, and if we take care of it, it will take care of us. I do not believe the gym is always necessary. One can exercise at home as well as eat well there. It is inspirational to see someone who is fit and healthy, especially at an older age.

It can be so difficult finding time out to go to the gym. our lives get so busy and so hectic that we sometimes forget to to pamper our selves now and then. takng he time to get physically fit can be as big a chore as the exercise itsef. still it is extremely important to take care of our bodies. we only get one and we need to care for it wisely./

swissheart I think many of us can relate..I too dreaded going to the gym and would find excuses for skipping my workout classes or odividual workputs. I bought serveral tapes and forced myself to do my exercises at home so there would be no excuses. I started with dancing exercise tapes and now switch off to either dancing. zumba, internet u-tube tapes or just dancing to music for a timed period. Iactually miss it when I don't work out now...and also try to incorporate physical activity during the day. I tell myself vacuuming is good exercise, etc

i dont think its superficial always, i look to the bright side and think these women want to have healthy bodies. i also admire their determination and work ethic to be able to stick with it.

I dont think working out is anyting superficial.I always find people who take time to work out ,either in a gym or at home, have energy and confidence. If you are willing to take care your body it means you are willing to do other things well too.I'm a student and I dont have conditions to work out.But I still do long-distance running regularly.I think I will go to gym when I have the oppotunity later.

Yeah i agree to your point. There are many ladies on earth who find time to work out in spite of their busy schedule and this is really good for them to keep themselves fit and ready to fight the challenges at their work place. i think as a student u should make yourselves firm enough to hit a gym and start doing work outs. Otherwise u can plan everyday to get up early in the morning and do exercises at home. To achieve something, u have to sacrifice somethings in life. What say?

I used to go to the gym and doing so has lots of benefits for the body. Not only do you get fit, good looking and healthy but it also boosts your performance, your stamina and your self-confidence. Only if there was a gym near my workplace, i would have enrolled myself to another gym membership!
