Ugg Boots to Office

Malaysia

I has been raining cats and dogs for a few days now in my place. So the weather is very cold, plus the air conditioned office. Makes me so lazy to work. Last Sunday, I went out with two of my friends, while driving it rained heavily and I have to wait for a while in the car before I went out to the restaurant. This place we hung out is a floating restaurant up on a small hill so you can imagined how cold it was at that time. So while drinking and chatting my feet were so cold, deep in my mind I decided to buy a boots for going out in weather like that especially. yesterday I browse through the internet and found Ugg boots. I totally fell in love with those boots and decided to go to the shopping mall in case I can find out (out place don't snow so Ugg is hard to find). WALA!!!! FOUND IT!!! and the price is not that much different from the one that sold online. My question is.... can I wear it to the office under my pants or skirt? No client will come to see me in the office anyway.

it depends on what the dress style is at your office. where i work, we can wear cords through the week and jeans on friday so i definitely would be able to wear them there but if your dress code is a little more tight (meaning you have to dress up all the time) i am not sure. i think they would look okay with pants though.

Yes, because the upper part of the boots wouldn't show... and I hope people will understand that I am wearing it when it is cold only.

Better check with human resources, I mean if it is chic enough to be worn under corporate-look pants or skirt, then it should work. Shoes are hardly noticed anyway except when you have to actually meet out clients where it really is going to be noticed. But if it is in neutral, tamed color, then again, it can pass off as just some other footwear with panache. BTW, thanks for this as you just gave me an idea.

I really think that there is no working dress code here, what's an ugg boots compared to a super mini skirt worn with legging right... Further more, I will only be wearing it during cold day... yes, if you like it you should try it.

I think it will really depend on your work place. Some offices will have specific things that they allow employees to wear and not to wear so I think you should consult that first. There are a lot of chic rubber boots being sold now and even designers have it so I suggest wearing that going to your work then changing into something else. Ugg really not does not farewell when it's wet.

I don't think they have specific dress code here. But it is a professional field though, I am working in a lawyer firm you see. But the environment is friendly, think Legally Blonde and Fairly Legal...
