claiming my blog in mylot!! How??

Hi, I followed the steps to claim by blog. But I couldent understand method 2
Which is "Add the following code to your blog's homepage template."
Any one tried such matter??

I tried it two times but nothing happen . I am not even sure what its even about . I claimed my blog and two weeks pass and nothing happen so i just forget it .

Myself also submitted my two blogs. I placed the code in the template html. After few days one blog is rejected for some reason.The second blog is still in 'pending' status more than six months.
