Okay, i admit it I have cysts

And I know that I need to go to the doctor but I don't have the money to. I have cysts on I believe my ovaries, and I know I've always had fibrocysts (benign) on my breasts. I've noticed the cysts on my ovaries about, oh.. months ago. I had a friend of mine feel for me and he says yes they are cysts, and that I should go see a doc. This morning my "stomach cramps" I mentioned in another discussion was really just cyst ache. I had to lay on my back to get the ache to go away. I am going to start taking Zinc again which helps with female reproductive system. I am going to TRY so hard to STOP drinking sodas (eyes soda sitting right beside her). as I know that does not help matters either. I guess I just wanted you guys to know about it. I know that a lot of you are going to tell me "this isn't something to mess with" "please go see a doctor" etc, BUT I don't have the money to do that with. I don't have health insurnace either. I'd have to pay out of pocket, and while I know places will take payments.. I just see it in two different ways. One is that I could find out they are benign, and they could try to give me medicine I will not take. I could find out that they are not benign and that I need surgery, surgery that I do not want to think about... I once was told about an article someone read that said a lot of people's health issues stems from stress AND the doctor's visit itself. No, I know that's a weak excuse, but I've always hated doctors and try to stay away from them as best I can. Now to just stay away from this stress. So I suppose this was more of an update, and not so much anything else. My question is : What healthy foods help women with an estrogen dominance?

What concerns me dear friend is if this could affect whether you have children when you are older or not? My DIL suffered so badly when she was pregnant as she had cysts in her uterus that were competing with the space that her twins needed to grow. I feel that you do need a Dr. and yes, it is importsnt ot find out whether or not therse are benign. I know that it costs but couldn't all of your family chip in to help you? believe you me, if I had the money then I would get it to you. My surgery was done privately out here and my children are now in debt big time

I do need to go see a doctor and find something out regardless, but I'm afraid as well. I know it's worse to have fear and find out it's something but get it treated in time then to have fear, put it off and find out too late. I do want to have children one day and I do worry about complications with even benign cysts and carrying a child, or my ability to. I've already told myself the next time I catch a friend of mine online I am going to talk to her and let her know. She will help me emotionally. As for financially, I know that I can call some places, but I won't tell family. My family tends to take medical problems and make them a huge huge problem that only ends up stressing me more.

I am not a big fan of soy milk but I can get the smaller containers of it and start drinking one a day...

It is a shame that you don't have the money to go to the doctor, because your quality of life could be improved if you went to visit them. You really should try to find the money somehow because your health could be at risk from these things. Have you thought about having an operation to have the cysts removed? You might find that your condition improves if you're able to do think. I think the best thing to do diet wise is just to have lots of healthy fruits and vegetables because these will help you to be a lot healthier in all respects.

"You might find that your condition improves".. Oh I am sure that my condition WOULD in fact inprove because just female reproductive issues can be a nuisance, and a stressor on the body as well as life.. I do NEED to go get it done and most likely I will end up telling a friend soon WHO WILL MAKE ME go, though I definitely don't want to go alone.

I think I have heard of "King of Bitters" before, but am not sure. Can it be a tea, or is it a tincture?

I had the same problem as you when I was about....2 years old. when I when to the toilet I couldn't do anything and it hurted so much that I bit my mother's hand to the point that it started bleeding. you can imagine how scared my parents were. they took me to the doctor and surprise surprise..I had a chyst on my left ovary. they had to remove my ovary( the chyst was maligne) and since then I've been living with only one ovary. each year I have to go and take a medical check as they told me that there were cases in which the other ovary turned with the same problem. luckly untill now I've been ok. I got my period and everything is normal my point first is that you should find the courage and see the doctor. they told my parents I had 50% chances of living...and here I am leading a normal life and I'm 23 years old now. second...try to find the money to go and see the doctor. if you're lucky and the chyst is beningne than in most of the cases the treatment is quite easy. you'll only have to monitor it's status. and still I have one curiosity: how did you realise it's a chyst? it also might be something else. one of my friend's mother discovered she had a chyst the size of an orange on a routine check. the idea is that she didn't have any manifestation in rare cases you have to go trough surgery...mine was one and as you can see there is life after that and I'm the live example. be brave...hope you'll be ok. you're young and you have to be strong. cheers

I suppose I have to say I assume it is. When I first noticed it I was over at a friends house and he felt it too and told me it was a knot, for sure and that I should go to the doctor. It hurts every once in awhile but hasn't been hurting as much now. I'm trying to go about it the natural way as I do not have insurance, and it would cost a great deal more because of it. I know that eating healthier does help. I am going to be calling a clinic soon though and asking them if they can help me and how much it'd cost for non insured and if I could do payments. I hope it won't lead to surgery as this would be my first. It must have been very scary for your parents since you were only two years old but glad it was removed and you are now better. Thank you for responding.

I'm not sure foods will help in this problem. I had not had any soda for 4+ years and do have alot of stress in my life, half of it could be avoided too with my family the way they are. I do believe stress has a lot to do with all health problems at some point. I wish I could keep the stress levels down as well. I did finally go for the surgery for my cyst as it was orange size and I did have to pay out of pocket for much of it as I didn't have insurance. What I would do is in your case make sure there the hospital has a charity care program, and they might be able to pay the whole cost if not most of it. Then make payments for what ever is left. The surgery was scary for me, I had put up with the cysts for a long time though-- but going towards menopause I just didn't know how bad things were. They turned out to be benign. How do you know they are not benign by the way? They could be cancerous. I wouldn't take any chances.

I should have said 'cyst' and 'It' not cysts with an s or 'They' cause I only had one. I hope it doesn't come back though on the other side. They had to remove an ovary too as it got so big (the cyst).

YOU scare me lol, but in a good way. Do you think if I were to call the hospital and ask they'd tell me if they had a charity program? I could also call Storehouse for Jesus and see if they can help in anyway. It's in another county though but I'm sure they'd still help me if I explained to them what was going on... I don't want to lose an ovary, I'd rather lose the cyst. There is also a clinic right up the road from me whom maybe can help.. I should call and see what they can do. I may have to go on medicaid again, but I HATE the process of doing that, it's annoying lol. I feel, what feels like the size of a golf ball on my left side.

It is amazing how much stress can affect ones body! I am not going to harp on you about seeing a Doc although I'm sure you know that you should. BUT I do have some good news. I was diagnosed with PCOS (poly cystic ovarian syndrome) and I have 2 beautiful daughters. I was told at 20 when I was diagnosed that I would never have children as my ovaries were so badly damaged from the cysts over the years, BUT as I stated earlier I have 2 healthy, beautiful children. I am unsure of certain foods that may help as I was never given much information, medication, etc.

Is there not a free clinic reasonably nearby? I used to work at a Methodist hospital in their central office. I know that we wrote off thousands and thousands of dollars because the people could not pay.

Yes, that is true. A lot of our health problems are caused by stress and very often, vitamin deficiency. Try to strengthen your body too by exercising, then have relaxing moments, take things slow and easy, and do some research on your health problem and see what vitamins you need to eliminate or control the problem. You can do this.
