What are your views about the reservation system in India?
I have seen from my childhood that this is one of the most critical issues in India. Reservation system was introduced for some good cause initially, but now it is only a support system to get the advantage only. I did not see any genuine case that gets the advantage of this. Politicians are using this for their own advantage. And upper cast poor and lower cast poor are still not getting their rights. What is the use? Use is to make the castacism alive, so that political parties could divide and rule on people.

It's being misused. The very purpose of the reservation hasn't been attained yet.
Though it's meant to bring those people up, it's useful for those who have already advanced among them. The same thing prevails "the rich gets richer, and the poor gets poorer".
I think, the reservation system should be changed to bring the economically backward people, irrespective of community. That too, the reservation can be given up to the level of education only. After education, there shouldn't be any reservation in employment. Then only, the quality of service will improve and everyone will try to improve their skills. Otherwise, it may develop a kind of laziness among the beneficiaries. (Already it developed.)
Political parties, they are just junks. They want to divide the house and rule. And the common public, not knowing their cunning motive, are stuck in the communal sentiment. (I remember the great poet Subramanya Bharathi's lines "They remain broke; and don't know why they are broke".)

Thanks for the precious response.
Yes the reality is very bitter. Politicians are using this system to make people separate only.
