Do you consider yourself Open Minded?

I am a very open minded woman. I am also very opinionated. I will discuss just about anything, and have recently decided to write articles as an outlet. But during this process I have discovered that even I have my limits. How open minded are you? Would you accept your husband in your undies? Would you be open to dealing with your personal fears on a monthly basis? Are you accepting of alternative lifestyles? Everyone has a limit I suppose...Care to share yours?

I would personally disagree with the first sentence of your post. You simply cannot be open minded and opinionated at the same time. That aside, I'm totally cool with different lifestyles, and dealing with fears AND any new thing that comes up, as long as it does not violate my "core values".

I think you can, but that is what makes things go round. Everyone hopefully has a core set of values, The fact that I can have an opinion only means I can see outside the box, and will embrace life and its differences.

You definitely can, although it is more difficult for opinionated people to see outside the box. It all depends on which part of "the outside of the box" you're really focusing on. An average person can only go to a certain point with open mindedness.

I try to be open minded. I might not be open to all things but I can be accepting of others. I would find it odd if my husband was wearing my panties. He would never do that but I have found him wearing my bra but he loves to play around. That is just his personality. Yes I would be open to dealing with my personal fears on a monthly basis. I'm very accepting of other peoples lifestyle choices. I really don't know what my limit is but if someone says something I will tell them how I feel and what is on my mind about subjects.

Great answer. Being open to change is a good thing. I have a friend, that asked me if I would be ok with my husband wearing my bra, and I really am not too sure how I feel about that one yet, I just don't see my husband doing it, but I would be laughing.

I got a laugh out of it. I even laughed when he wore it on his head and said he was braman.Lol. We also have a 20 month old so she wears odd things on her head. If he wore my bra all of the time I would think its odd for him and bit weird out by him. I'm cool with bi's

I am a very opinionated but I can't really say that I am an open minded. I usually give my opinions over something, sometimes, even if they aren't solicited :D But if I already noticed that the discussion is going far beyond the norms, I usually walk my way out. So I guess I have set boundaries and limitations as well.

Tried to keep open mind....It can make you be a happier person. due to type of my job which is contract with pc , Sometimes I don't want to say something with my colleagues.slowly I can feel I was unhappy and lonely in the working time.and I become more limited. So I determined to change,When I meet someone,i tried to smile and say hello.I think be open minded make me happy

I would say that I am very open minded, I use to be a lot more close minded. I have friends from all kinds of backgrounds, races and sexualities so I have learnt to accept a lot. My limit is when something is advocating hate or damaging behavior, when I get to those things I just go "not interested". I would prefer to be open to people, I don't have to agree with them but I can at least learn something from them.
