Muslims is Arabic but do remember that Urdu is not pure successor of Arabic. script is from Arabic and accent is mixed just like Hindi which is of Sanskrit script and accent is mixed. so Hindi/Urdu have been created for taste of one self, they are not successor of either pure Sanskrit or Arabic. similar their are lot of mixing of languages and i think it is Aramaic, since jesus christ is consider from arabic stream.

Spoken Urdu and spoken Hindi are more the same language than even Pakistani and Indian Punjabi are. The only real difference is in the way they are written.

no one likes to lose their identity, that's why we have this combination and are very similar. i won't be surprised if in future their would be only one spoken language but with different scripts.

Jesus' native tongue was probably Galilean or a dialect of Aramaic. He would also have known Hebrew and was probably fluent in it and he may have known some Greek. English did not exist as a language then, so he could not possibly have spoken English! There are stories (probably late inventions, however) that, during the approximately 30 years of his life about which nothing is known, he travelled with his uncle, Joseph of Arimathea, to Britain. If that were the case, he might have picked up a few words of Brythonic. Aramaic is a Semitic language and therefore related to Arabic in the same way that Urdu is related to, say, Gujarati. The Gospel stories were almost certainly written originally in Greek (though there is some evidence that there were some original Aramaic sources), which was the lingua franca of the Mediterranean at the time, much as English has become the lingua franca of the Internet today.

I think the first language spoken by Jesus was Aramaic. He might also understand Greek and Hebrew. That's base on my finding from reading on internet. Obviously, Jesus don't speak English. Aramaic was the main language spoken in Ancient Near East at time Jesus lives.

As a Christian, the Bible teaches that all languages came from G-d. It is likely that Adam and Eve, the two first humans that G-d made, likely spoke neither Arabic or English, or Hebrew, or any other language we know. In short, we Christians believe that no language is better or worse than any other language. What matters to G-d is not what language of his that you speak, but rather whether you worship him in truth and spirit and faith. Jesus never mentioned what language he spoke in the Bible, specifically because it's not important. What he mentioned over and over, is what is in your heart. Whether you put G-d first in your life, and following him, because that is what is important.

I think he can't. Do you mean that English now have borrowed words from Jesus language? Just like Urdu that have lot of arabic phrases? I don't think that is the case. I mean, language development is not only related to religion expansion. it is also evolving on different reason, like occupation, traveling merchant, and many more.

Aramaic was the language that was spoken by the people. Therefore, it was the language Jesus spoke.

I don't know much about the history of Jesus Christ. From movies, the one directed by Mel Gibson, Jesus Christ speak a foreign tongue which definitely not English at all. I guess that is Hebrew, or Arabic. So, it won't matter anyway. About his preaching and teaching, it wasn't about the language, it is about its essence which really inspire million of people.

According to many (thanks especially to Mel Gibson & his PASSION of the CHRIST), Jesus spoke Aramaic, a relative of Hebrew. According to some 'new research,' He spoke common Hebrew. I'm sure it was something like that. (Linguists would call it a 'Hebrew creole.' Now that I think of it, it might've been a 'Hebrew/Latin creole,' as they were living under Roman rule ... like the famous 'creole' spoken in New Orleans was French spoken by slaves living 'under American rule.')

For the language that was spoken by Jesus, peace be upon him: he was told Syriac (It is one of the Semitic languages??) and also said he was speaking Aramaic, a subsidiary of the Syriac , who wrote the Bible wrote it in Aramaic and then translated into Hebrew and other languages ??.What was left of the Semitic languages ??now only : Arabic , Syriac, Hebrew, and Amharic Ethiopia. Christ was known Hebrew as he was of the Jews living in their midst as it was familiar with Greek and Latin .

Aramaic was originally the language of the Babylonians or Chaldeans, the Syrians used it, and two parts of the Old Testament are written in it, but with Hebrew, rather than ancient Babylonian orthography. Dialects of it were spoken in Israel after the return from exile (a mixture of pure Chaldee with Hebrew - Hakeldamah, a Jerusalem dialect word starts with the Hebrew definite article and finishes with the Chaldean) and Jesus's first language would have been the Galilean dialect of it. Not all Jews studied Hebrew enough to know the Scriptures in it (When, in John 7:49, the pharisees said "This people who know not the law are cursed", they meant that they could not recite it in Hebrew), but Jesus did. He also knew enough Greek of the market place to cry out "Tetelestai" (It is finished/fulfilled/paid in full) on the cross, and it's probably because it was a Greek word that only one Gospel writer recognized it. Samar, according to Wikipedia, there are more semitic languages than you mention, such as Tigrinya and Maltese. In addition to those mentioned in Wikipedia, there are some in Chad and CAR that have Semitic characteristics, and may even be Semitic languages.

Jesus was born a Jew so obviously He was speaking in Hebrew language during the time He was here on earth. He was not speaking in English and preaching in English because his audience were Jews like him not Americans or Britons or any English speaking people.

Brother the language of Jesus Christ is Love ,Sacrifice and forgiveness. He is well versed in all languages but he uses these words always. He always ask in all language1) Do you love your brother?2) Can you forget and forgive him with all your love and care?3)Love your neighbor as you love yourself.4)Love one another as I have loved you.5)Feed your enemy and share your things with the needy and the out caste. Finally he says I have sacrificed my life as an atonement for your sins and the sins of the generation to come .Just believe in me and in my father who send me.I will be with you when you have no friends, when you have tough situation to overcome, just call me in full faith and I will be at your side to help you overcome anything.Do not fight but spread love and peace.I have heard him speak this in my mother tongue.Read the new testament in the Bible,he will speak to you in your language.
