Yes friends, i tried my hands at washing my clothes for the first time in my life and it was indeed a great experience for me. For 22 years my mother always used to wash my clothes and it was me who insisted her to allow me to try my hand at it. My mother used to say that it is not an easy job to wash clothes and i experienced it today that it needs lot of patience to rid the dirt off the clothes and then clean it.
What about u guys? Do u like washing your clothes?

Wow. Great job there. :) Since highschool, I learned how to wash my clothes or rather I would say our clothes. :D I don't just wash my clothes but also the clothes of the family. I do it every Sunday because every Saturday I clean our house. :D (I'm good) :D Those were the days that I felt I'm like a servant. haha. But it's okay. It's for my family's benefit. But when I finished University and started to work. I don't have time to wash clothes anymore so it's my mom who took the responsibility again. :D So I take the responsibility of washing the dishes instead of the clothes.

Hey thanks a ton for your wonderful response. Well great to hear that u used to clean your clothes from such a tender age and that has certainly imbibed the feeling of responsibility in u. Yes i can understand your feelings but u should feel proud that u were able to serve your family a bit also. But yes when u get busy u hardly get time to clean clothes one by one and it is only on weekdays that u get time to clean your clothes properly otherwise either one can go for laundry services or can assign this task to your mother or any servant.

Hey thanks a ton for your response. Well yes i do feel lucky enough to have such a lady in my life who never allowed me to even touch my dirt clothes, leave aside the cleaning part. She always felt that i might mess up with the clothes and hence she never felt the need of myself get involved in cleaning and stuffs. Yeah i can understand your situation. It usually takes a lot of time to clean the clothes and good that u have laundry services who can now take some burden off u and help u clean the clothes.

I have been doing laundry for 15 years and it doesnt get easier. I have just tonight in my tired haze ruined clothes. I spilled some bleach on a black shirt and i cant beleive how easy it was to ruin the shirt. Years of experience doesnt help just like you said patience.

Hey thanks a ton for your response. yes u had posted a discussion previously to which i had also responded that u had ruined a shirt by adding some bleach to it. Well definitely washing clothes is not an easy job and in spite of so many experiences, u never know when u might spoil the clothes unknowingly. It is very tiring when u have so many clothes to wash and that too u need a hell lot of patience to clean all the clothes properly.
