Hi. Actually I don't understand it properly. I mean when a boy like a girl, he approaches to her and talk to her. But if girl likes a boy she hide it in herself and doesn't tell that boy that she loves her. This thing happen mostly in Asian countries. So what would be the mindset of girls? cheers.

This is a common thing in the Philippines. The reason is because Filipino women were brought up in a conservative manner, meaning when it comes to courship, it is the call of the boys to initiate the act of wooing a girl. The girls should only respond to the boys. The girls, no matter how much they like a boy, should always wait for their initiative. So this means that most of the time girls are being saddened if the guy that they like doesn't court them. :(

Yep, that is so true in the Philippines. Why do we really care that men should make the first move? Men in nature are the initiators, women the responders. Sounds old fashioned and quite a conservative culture.

It's really not that different from how it happens in the wild, too. With most animals, the men are the ones that are more dressed up and flashy... the lustrous mane of a male lion, the bright massive feathers on a male peacock, the giant horns on a male deer. The men are the ones that show themselves off, hunt down the females... while the females are quiet, submissive, keeping away from everything. The ones who did that more are the ones who could protect their children better, while the flashier males were able to draw in the females better. It's just the way it goes, naturally, and it will probably keep going that way forever.

I have to say in the country where I live it has almost become the opposite, but in a negative way. So a girl is shy to say that she likes a boy but then she would get drunk and end up kissing or worse to men or boys she dosent even know and whats worse is her friends will encourage it. In short she will make a fool of herself and lose respect of the guy she likes and will likely drive him away before they even get a chance. Decent guys on the other hand are quiet and timid creatures who need to be handled like baby chicks and taken slow until they are ready to make the first move. I have to say it is confusing though even if it is backward from your scenario. I dont think relationships will get any easier. Though I would say that you should always get to know someone better as a friend to make sure that you are compatible to begin with.

Girls tend to be more worried about whether the boy would like them too so they often hold back from telling them how much they like them. Of course some Men are like that when a Woman likes them.

In every interaction with people, we can not avoid to be attracted to them. For me, I am more attracted to people in their attitudes. Taking note the good attitudes rather than the other way around.
