We work. But sometimes we are so tired of working because of the management of our employer or boss. Im already 4 years with my work. Well, generally, I enjoyed working here. The company is not really paying us in high salary and the benefits are not that good, but a lot of employees stay here because they feel free here. The company is not that strict. I'm also being challenged, though sometimes I also feel low when I feel stagnant. But I really learned a lot here. And I also enjoy my co-employees.

My father always tell me that its better of you're self employed. But as of now, I can't still think of a business that will sure boom.

I am still in college and I am planning to make my own Company. It is because like you I do not want to be just an employee. I mean if I create a Company I will be able to help others by making jobs available for more people. This way they will be able to earn money for their daily expenses and also for them to be able to enjoy life with the money that they made.

That's really great. I hope you'll be able to achieve that. And having your own business means having yourself as a boss and having your own time.

I feel happiness and not because of me being here. There are a lot of things I saw in this company that could send me out running to find another job elsewhere. But probably because the things that i see outweighs the negative things.. I am still here and still trying to enjoy the best of what i can get or the best of what the company can offer me. I have been with 3 other companies and they are not perfect themselves, office mates, workplace, work environment, culture, location... all have their own flaws and we all have to live with it because it is impossible to find the perfect company that won't have anything that we do not like. Right now, with my current company, i have the good location which is just a few minutes away from our home.. i have good friends at work too which is a good factor as well. Other things i think i can live with and i can adjust to.

That's an advantage that you're only few minutes away from your home. Coz I spend two hours travel in going to my work. You save a lot of time. And can spend longer hours to your family.

I worked as a merchandiser for nearly 3 years in last company. They payed me in high salary. But as the time goes, the job is become very easy for me. I find it lack of challenge.I changed my job two weeks ago. Now I work as an international seller with more working time and lower salary than before. But I didn't regret, because I am happy doing my job now.

It's really a factor that you dont feel stagnant with your job. A good job should be always challenging and you are always learning.

Oh, we are exactly the same. I've been working for four years already at work. I love my job but I don't like how my boss manage us, too. He has inconsistent decisions. He's so strict and somewhat suspicious. I guess having another job is better especially one that will give us better future. Happy mylotting.

That's really a factor in "thinking of getting a new job". It's hard to stay in a job if you're not happy with your boss.

That matters most, if you are happy with your work and happy that the company you are working with is not too strict, then stay with it. It is better than being jobless (you know how hard it is to look for a job these days)

Indeed, I'm thinking of finding another job which is nearer in our home. But I'm thinking twice because I know that it's really hard to find a new job. Thanks for sharing.

I imagine that most people become disillusioned with the company or management at some time because we can not possibly agree with all decisions concerning company policy. It is human nature to find fault with our employment, irrespective of how well the business is actually run. I am quite content with the job that I do, although I do manage to find objections from time to time.

Obviously I wasn't happy to my company. For 2 years working abroad, the management like me so much. I got an 2 awards for the whole year operation. I received a cash of around $400. I was so happy because they appreciated my effort but after I asked them to give me an increase of my salary, they refuse. So last april 2012, I resigned and go home.

I used to be happy, but now, I don't know. I feel the company is already going down and they are no longer giving much importance to us. Plus they are giving us additional work to do and I really am not happy with it anymore . I want to look for another job but a part of me still wants to stay because I already feel good at what I am doing here. but then, part of me wants to go because as what I have said, the company is already starting to go down and another thing is, I really feel stagnant. I work too far from my profession and I really find nothing to learn about here everyday since our work is the same everyday. I just hope I will feel God's guidance on whatever my decisions will be.

I have been with 5 different companies already and so far, this is where I really enjoyed my job. I wouldn't want to call it a job because it feels like we're just playing around. You get paid by coming in to work, surf the net, chat with customers and there really is less than 10% of stress! The pay is just okay but my colleagues and superiors are really awesome!

I always take the philosophy, humanity and professionalism of the boss in charge and secondly the working environment under consideration before I go to join any company. If the boss is a fking that is a blackmailer or a less knowing person than I instantly get off to another job. Moreover the environment where there are chances to learn and promote myself is another component of a good job to me as well.

I am not happy with my company actually, low pay, high pressure, crazy boss,I just work at my current company for about half year but I find even every day for me is so difficult, the reason why I still stay here is because I can learn some expertise, when I find out that my expertise is OK and can not learn more in here, then I will quit definitely.

I work for a company, I have bills to pay. I hate what I do now, it didnt start out that way, but budget cuts being what they are, the work force suffers, the customers suffer, all in the name of stuffing corporate pockets. We get letters all the time about how the companies profits are rising, I am scheduled 24hrs a week, and they think that is too much. They want to cut them further, so in the mean time I try to keep a roof over my head and the bills paid. Its just the norm now.

I been working for 4 years in this company, I am happy and I enjoy my work, the people I am working with are also good to me, but I am thinking of quitting my job because they don't pay us enough ( from those unpaid overtime ). The schedule is very erratic, sometimes the schedule I have is on 8 hours shift, but was later on informed that I will be doing a double shift. Which really infuriates me. Should I quit my job?

My dream is to one day own my own business making my own rule being the boss . I am enjoying my work now but that not where I want to be all my life , I think if I do one thing for two long , it will drive me crazy . Life is too short to not enjoy it, I dont want to be working the same job forever I want adventure I want to see the world , Ill work hard for now so one day I can if a work is not providing good benefits and salary I will not stick around very long .

I am happy with my company also. After staying here for almost 5 years, I think I don't need to dream of entering government service because I don't have that so called 'backer' to back up me with my applications. So staying here in the private sector is by all means my sole way of earning income needed to feed for my family.

I am not so happy with the company I am in at present and if be given an option, I might decide to just leave. I once had a job that don't pay that much but I am happy with it. I have very good friends in there and we have very good relationships. It is just so sad that the company was closed few years back so we are all separated from each other after that.
