my friend is itching!!!

Good day folks! I just need some advice regarding some matters involving skin disease.. I have a best friend, she is a girl. We are the best of friend so we tell literally all our secrets to each other. But this past few months I notice something is wrong to her. She seems anxious and always not in the mood. so i confronted her and asked what is wrong. At first she hesitated to answer but it seems that she has no choice so she speak up. She told me that she had this skin disease called JOCK ITCH. She was shy to open it up to me since kock itch are rarely seen on girls and that could be very degrading to her part. I ask her where did she got it and told me that his bf for 3 years had this skin disease too. And the guy might have passed it to her. Now she don't know what to do because she cannot handle the itch. She have tried consulting to dermatologist but nothing have worked and the jock itch come back all over again. I told her since she got it from her boyfriend they should start curing the guy too but the guy hesitated to do it. Now she is asking me what to do.I am also in doubt what could be the best solution to her problem.. She is also asking me if I know some home remedies that can help lessen the itch.. Guys do you have any idea about jock itch? i am not in particular of this skin disease.. Thanks :)
