Match of the weekend: Arsenal Vs. Chelsea!!

Arsenal takes on Chelsea in what is going to be the match of the weekend in the EPL. Arsenal has had a good solid start to the season with a good run with bigger clubs beating Liverpool and drawing away at Man City. But Chelsea is currently on the top of the league would like to continue with their good start to the season though they have looked a bit sluggish over the last couple of weeks. Would be a good match as London derby usually is... When will Arsenal meet MU? Would be interesting to see RVP playing against his former team...

It's going to be a tough game. If Arsenal can escape with a draw, it'll be fine. The Arsenal team is yet to be perfect; we should expect the best from the players as from the eighth to the tenth game of the season.

I would have been happier if Arsenal had escaped with a draw. Anyway, this Arsenal team is promising and the days ahead are very bright. This is, perhaps, the wake up call for Olivier Giroud to wake up from slumber and starts to do well the job for which he was recruited. I confess that I didn't watch the game but I'm happy that the gunner players are doing fairly well in the competition so far.

Arsenal lost the game 2-1, but things could have been different if Giroud had scored of the chance he had with an open goal!! Cheers! Ram

I think Giroud needs to improve fast. Else Arsenal would need to buy another striker in the January transfer window. Cheers! Ram

What can I say? It is going to be a test for both. can Arsenal beat Chelsea? Or has Chelsea become such a powerhouse that they can beat Arsenal? Time will tell.

Sadly for me, Arsenal lost and Chelsea won. The match though was a very good one with both teams creating a lot of chances in front of the goal. Cheers! Ram

i think Arsenal is in top form.. as long as Wenger can keep his player focus in the games, they have chance for winning.. With giroud had scored, it is one advantages not only for Wenger but for the confident of Giroud.. Giroud had got many criticize about his finishing touch and the mid week games in FA cup is the good starting for his finishing touch..

More than anything, it is the Arsenal defense that has surprised me. They have been really solid at the back. The work put in by Gould seems to be bearing dividends for the team. But today, they would be tested by a very attacking Chelsea lineup. Cheers! Ram

Wenger has started playing him a bit selectively and I think it is right. He brings him in matches where the opposition has tall center forwards. As he can tackle the crosses. But in matches where there are fast players in the opposition, Mertesacker's lack of pace means that Wenger does not prefer him in such matches. Cheers! Ram

where is petr mertasacker??maybe wenger must try to play him.. the left defender, kierran gibs play very poorly too..
