hi to all well, Kind of very confusing discussion here, When I am 16 years old I think this but still very confused about the fact, I am Muslim & Reads Carefully the Preaching of Islam, also our neighbor aunty is christian she is also agree with me, when I talk with her, anyway we believes Eternal life is Most Important, & the Eternal life is actual life for humans, But the question always waving in my mind, I am sorry guys for express my thoughts in bad English, I wish you understands it, Hope you understand as a Muslim ME, & My Neighbor Christian Aunty is agree that Eternal Life is real life of humans??? OK??? so guys the question is If Eternal Life is real??? why we kill, fight & do Politics for Wealth in this world??? I know its hard to this very hard question, but I asks it, just what My mind said, have a nice day.

Because not everyone is naive, like you and Christian Auntie, there are people in this world (such as the ones that are controlling the world right now) that do not care about anyone else but themselves, even if they have to kill, fight, eradicate and do politics for their own wealth ! They don't care about you or anyone else but themselves! That's why us good people are trying to do good and understand, but these criminals could care less about us!

But what makes the criminals act this way? I think it's the same thing that makes us act the way we do: experience, beginning with the way our parents treat us when our minds are most-shape-able---i.e. in our earliest infancy. Our minds are still very shape-able from later infancy to young adulthood, but our consciences harden more-&-more as we get older-&-older. So I think the solution is to 'practice childhood'---approach each new experience as a child, open to discovering whatever you may discover as 'new' (not 'good' or 'bad,' just 'new').

Hi Tushavi, I think that your English is improving, keep up the good work. I understand what you are saying and I agree. We should try to live together in peace and not be always looking for more power and wealth. Blessings.

well for one, not everyone believes in eternal life or follows religion. And secondly humans live day by day and so they don't much care about tomorrow. There will always be murders, thieves, and people fighting for money and wealth and good standing in the community. It is just human nature.

People fight and die for wealth because they have their priorities set wrong. We should make God our number one priority. The human soul is eternal. Where we spend our eternity depends on how we spend our mortal life here on earth.

I know that we all need to have money in order to be able to survive in this world. If we didn't have any money, then there would be no way that we would be able to meet our basic necessities in life. However, I don't think that people need to be as wealthy as many people fight to have in their lives. For me, I think that it is far more important to be kind and to help other people where we can because in doing that, we will insure that we have a place in eternity.

The people who operate organised religions promise eternal life and paradise in the next world simply so they can steal this one. Look closely and they are living very well, control everything and if poor folks question it they are simply promised "heavenly rewards" whilst the leaders take every earthly reward for themselves.

Yes I agree the eternal life is the most important one and the reason we and die for wealth and material gain is simply because we keep forgetting how important is the eternal life to us. Those who realize this simple fact do not engage in achieving these material gains and concentrate to make their eternal life better.

Most of them do not believe that there will be the hereafter, in which we all will live eternally. They think life is now, so they fight to get what they want for now only. In Islam, God gives examples of those who are disappointed in the hereafter because of doing bad things.

It's the same question as to why people have to kill for the sake of GOD and religion. to be honest we live here to do good for all mankind but not every one is capable of that. because it's easy to do bad than good and it takes guts to do the right and good thing for all mankind. that's why the rest is obviously easy to pick up the bad routine.

In the early days, we fought to live, survive and even food. Somewhere, the bad virtues took over and we started killing for wrong reasons. Today, the Politics, Wealth and even Wars are all done only for personal benefits and gains. But this is not everything and there are still many who prefer to find the Eternal Life as you talk of.
