Today is one of those days. I guess I had too much fun during the weekends when my family and I went for a nature tour at one of our local parks and the weather was just really great and we had an overnight stay and had fun!! Now i feel I no longer have the strength to do my work, not to mention that it's really a bed-weather today!! Hehehhe sorry for ranting but just want to express it today. I am too lazy today!!! Heheheheh how bout you?

I know those day. Right now, I am experiencing the same. Yesterday, me and my family went to the mall and watched Hotel Transylvania. The new mall that just opened near my village was really packed with people. I had to dodge so alertness is a must. And to not lost my family, I had to speed up. Now my body ached all over--but obviously, not my fingers or I won't be able to type.

I appreciate your sincerity to mylot. i mean you had a hectic day even though it was an outing and still you are here. If it was me i would have been on bed by now. But I would suggest you to take enough rest so that you feel better tomorrow.

I understand how you feel. And, I, too, feel that weekend was too short. Sometimes I wish I also had a 3-day weekend. And, it doesn't help that it's gloomy outside, perfect to curl up with a book in bed. And hot choco. Oh... but we need to work!

I always felt there should be a day off in between five day works. But that is just my craving. practically its not possible because the work output would be heavily reduced. but whatever it is, monday morning are always hard to digest.

I think we all have times where we just don't want to do any work. I work from home and this means that I don't have any kind of pressure from a boss to get work done. When the weather is horrible and cold, the only thing that I want to do is sit at home and drink tea whilst watching television. But I have to make sure that I am strict with myself otherwise I would never get all of my work done. If I don't do my work I don't get paid, and I am only just making enough to pay the bills at the moment so it's very important that I get everything done.

I think you just have a fantastic ambiance since you work from home. you dont have any peer pressures or nasty bosses to worry about. Also you same the tine of travel and tiredness involved. this in turn increases your productivity.

Hello Laydee, It's really alright and I understand because you work so much out there, with all the stress from work you had gone through, a break is necessary. Don't you have a day off or something? or is it just week ends? don't worry you will miss work by the time you are done with your break. people can get bored with work most of the time.

Thats very true. if your work is monotonous, then there is no doubt that you would get bored by the end of the day. work environment is also an important factor. if your boss is shrewd, then you are going to feel more pathetic.

hi there laydee, it looks like you really enjoy the goodness of the trip that you have had last weekend. so maybe what you feel now is still the height of the excitement. and that is fine, its like having a jet log.

Going to office after a trip is like going to prison. you would have memories lingering about the trip. even at the office you would be thinking about it. But by afternoon, your work load would be more than enough that you forget everything else ans focus on your work.

I tend to get these 'apathy' days too. It is as if i cannot concentrate or make myself do anything. But then I start feeling angry with myself, and so i will myself to get up and start doing something. Lazing away does not get you anywhere, and actually I only end up feeling worse as I start feeling guilty for the things which I have not yet completed.

These days are common across people. But I think you must have noted that this laziness remains may be for an hour. once you are into office, you get busy and just tuned for the work. If you had been on a long vacation, then situation is different. You would feel real bad to go to office.

in the initial days of my office, i always felt the same. it was like I was taken to some jail or something. but now I dont have these monday apprehensions. i am comfortable even after a long weekend. this is because i have indeed got an interesting job and also good friends around me at office.

that is ideally true,i second the fact its because of boredom, when i get back to work on mondays there are a lot of problems to face out there and i feel quite odd to sort things out and its the most annoying factor with so much pressure at times

What happens with most of us when its friday evening, we just come how wind up the work. We are in a mood to party and we convince ourselves that we will complete the job on monday. but when its monday morning, we realise we have a whole lot thing to do. that itself dampens the mood.

It is nice to know that your family had bonded during the weekend. Well, there are times also that i feel lazy going work especially if the weather is really conducive for sleeping. Just imagine yourself just curling inside your blanket hugging all the pillows that surrounds you, would that be really nice? Yes, indeed it is but i know i really need to go to work because it is our responsibility as an employee. Right?

Hello laydee, I feel the same way sometimes especially in the winter time. I am so lazy and do not want to get out of my warm bed. A cup of coffee with some cream usually helps me. Try someone coffee it'll give you energy and you won't feel lazy anymore, you'll feel awake.

I feel you dont have a time constrained job. the job where there are strict time bounds, you only have time to run off bed and go for shower. Its really a battle to meet time in such kind of jobs.

There are really times when we just don't have the strength to go to work, and we practically have to drag ourselves out of bed. I get that sometimes too, lol! I agree that this is a bed-weather day but my siblings have school so I have to get up early, much to my disappointment.

These are some of the really weird days that we have in our life. We never want to gout even if its an off day. especially if you have work during these days, then it becomes more pathetic.

Its nice to know that there are times when you just dont want to work. It only means, that you have time to take break, rest for a while, or spend time with your family. I also feel that way sometimes. Like tomorrow, I'll take a vacation leave, haha. Just want to spend time at home. Sadly, some are work-a-holic, they missed half of their lives.

I am Kinda lazy today. I mean the cold just started again and you know the cold can make you feel like sleeping all day long. During the summer it's a little better because the heat can make you less tired (in my case). I mean everyone needs time off to sit back and chill. If you don't give yourself the rest you need, you might black out and be less productive. Today for example, I feel a bit lazy but I try to be energized because I have things I have to do and accomplish for the day.

I had a pretty busy weekend myself. My 5 year old granddaughter stayed for the weekend We played ring toss among other things. She watched tv with my teenage daughter and they made brownies, that were delicious. She was a great helper with handing tools to fix things, laundry and cleaning. She asked if she could "broom"(sweep) We went to the playground and she learned to go across the jungle gym bars by herself I am so proud of her.

I have had 6 hours sleeping everynight as my living habit, and I seldomly stayed for all-night. I know I wouldn't have energy to work if I sleep little the last night, this is why I followed a regular habit.
