No matter how early I sleep, I find it difficult to wake up the next day.

Good day Fellow Mylotters, For the past few days, I have been trying to sleep early as I want to get up early on the next day. However, I have noticed that, no matter how early I go to bed, still, I find it difficult to get up the next day. Although I got awake but it seems so difficult to get up. As a result, I am getting a cat nap then. Though I still manage to get up early but I always end up with this habit.

Maybe its just stress you are dealing with, are you going to do something you don't like after you wake up? Thus you feel not wanting to get up. I feel like this too when I was working in an office last time, not able to get up because I hate commutting to work everyday and hassel in the office.

Maybe because it's already a habit. Do you know that if you keep up with the same action/s for the next 21 days, it becomes a habit? Keep up with your effort to sleep early and try to wake up early for the next 21 days. Your body is just accustomed to waking up late, that must be why it's like that. I'm sure you'll succeed.

Maybe you are always tired that is why you can't wake up early even if you have slept early. Why not try to set an alarm so that you can wake up early.I am also like you and I cannot wake up early.I have an alarm clock and I also use my cellphone's alarm so that I can wake up.

You "might" have sleep apnea. Ask your doctor to order a sleep study to be done on you. I have sleep apnea. I was tired no matter when I went to bed or when I got up. It was driving me crazy. Come to find out, I was waking up something like 36 times an hour and not breathing for 12-15 seconds each time. I was getting NO sleep. Well, not any peaceful sleep. I never would have known it had my doctor not figured it out. I have a cpap machine I sleep with every night. I get peaceful rest and am able to get up at a normal time and function. It won't hurt to ask. Good Luck. Read up on sleep apnea and see what you think.

You should try to stop sleeping during the day, because if you do this then it means that although you might sleep at night, you probably wouldn't be able to get a good quality sleep which would refresh you enough for the next day. You should also make sure that you're going to bed and getting up at the same time each day because this means that your body would get into the habit of being awake at the right time and it should start to become easier once you do this. Also try sleeping with your curtains a little bit open so that there is light coming into your room in the morning.

Years ago when I was in my 20's I began having a lot of trouble getting up. It got really bad, to the point where I thought I wouldn't be able to go to work. I was so tired. I told a friend at work about it and he asked if I ate food that had B Complex vitamins in it. I said I didn't know what foods had B vitamins. He told me and I said no, I eat a lot of pizza and stuff. So I started taking a good quality B Complex vitamin every day and I have never had that problem again. I couldn't believe it. Now I'm a lot older and I eat better and take vitamins. I have learned much more about health. Getting old does that to you.. So maybe all you need is a vitamin every day.
