Are you good at telling jokes?

I know some people that are really funny when they tell jokes. Sometimes I start laughing before they even finish the joke, because they have a unique way of saying the story and they use different voices or facial expressions that make it even funnier!
On the other hand, I can't tell good jokes! I think I am not good at it, I can be funny in my everyday life, but if I start telling a joke I get too excited and skip important details and finally I mess it up! I really admire people that can tell a good joke and make everyone laugh!

Hi, besweet! That's exactly how I feel. I can't tell a joke to save my soul. But I've known some people who are so good at telling jokes that, like you said, you're laughing before they're done. But I do love jokes. I like stand up comedy, too. And I also admire a person who can deliver a joke well.

Yes, I watch a lot of stand up comedy as well! When I have time, I try to visit the small theaters that they have at the city nearby and they organise stand up comedy nights once a month. It's amazing and I laugh a lot, I enjoy stand up comedy because laughing really makes me feel free!

I rather hear them, then tell them.. lol I was a bartender for several years and told my share of jokes and they all were heard and laughed at. So I guess I do ok with telling them.. I would rather hear them though..

Hi,
I am very good at telling jokes. People say that I have good sense of humor. I have a big stock of jokes and I like to tell the jokes to others and make them laugh. Because of this quality I have many friends. My wife is like you. She can not tell the jokes. She likes to listen them but can't tell.

That's a nice talent! There is a specific guy that we were studying together, who was awesome at telling jokes. The were super funny, but he also had the style. Sometimes I picture him in my mind saying some jokes that I really liked and I laugh by myself!
Remembering a lot of jokes with all the details is also a great advantage! And a problem for those who can't do that easily!

yes i think so. i am a funny people and i always can make other people laugh. i like to laugh, too. i think if i can make other people keep in good mood, it is a great honor for me. i like telling good jokes with my friends or someone else. i think it can give other people a good impression. people always like me and you know, i enjoy it. but i will take care of jokes i will tell to others because i don't want to hurt anyone. you know, some people like telling jokes with others and some not. so it is not a easy work. haha!

I always appreciate people with good sense of humour! I am sure that your friends admire you becasue you are funny and you can tell good jokes! I think that the way that people express themselves and tell hokes can show many things about their character and I like hanging out with them!

I am very good at telling all different types of jokes. when i start everyone gets in the mode of laughter and they just can't resist... but when they ask me to stop, i stop right away and in a little while you just hearing a loud laugh just bursting...

I think I am the worst person who tells jokes . I do tell jokes and my friends would laugh somehow even if it's a bit corny or really off the topic. At least some still gets my jokes and not really sound like a crazy girl talking non sense!

My friends tell me that I am good. I think so too! :)

That's cool! I have a friend on facebook that posts new jokes all the time at his satus! I was curious and I asked him once where does he find all those jokes and he said that he finds some of them online and he makes up the others! I think it's amazing to be able to create new jokes!! I also think that it's a talent to be a good joke teller and make people laugh! You are very luky to have both! :-)

it made me realized that telling jokes is also some sort of a talent. i also love to be with people like them. it makes my day and even my life lighter and helps me forget about my anxieties in life. just like the standup commediane. they are really good at it. even when they are not yet saying anything.
I also do deliver some jokes. Sometimes i can make my circle laugh. but sometimes, just like you, i mess it up. sometimes i cannot control but i laugh myself before delivering the joke.

I know what you mean, if people are sensitive they might get offended by some jokes! I have a friend that says inappropriate jokes all the time! I like her and I enjoy it, we are friends for years! But other people might feel uncomfortable when they meet her for the first time and she makes an inappropriate joke! But then, if you sit with her for a while you see that she is so good and spontaneous that you can't really be offended!

Well its all because their right side of brain are active to bring out lot of alfa waves and they are lot more creative. You just stick with them for few months then you will too learn their art of fun making when they talk. Its just creative and I know some of them too well they are not celebrity by some friends and relatives who are good at it. Have a funny life.
