My wallet was stolen at work

I normally didnt bring my wallet with me inside work station since we have our own locker for our personal belongings though that day i keep my wallet with me coz i took my lunch and directly went to my station after then while doing my work i put it on top of my coffee tumbler since we don't drawer in our table its simply a table with computer and phone to work with, then i went out to the toilet and when i returned i didnt notice or check about my wallet, then the girl next to me started to get my attention by talking to me as if shes so friendly, we don't have our own table so every time we come to work we can choose which one we want and doesn't matter whose the person next to us and of course we already know some of us there while others our new, on the other hand im sure that the girl next to me took my wallet and i just realized that i lost my wallet when going home to check for it.
I didnt check it while working coz i had in mind that i might put it in my bag as i normally do and i really forgot about it. I was very mad coz when one of my office mate lost her mobile in our toilet i was able to returned it to the mail room and i didnt even received any message form here thanking me to do that and now this what ive got in returned. Though im glad coz i didnt put all my money their including the money that i supposed to pay for my apartment and all my cards wasn't there coz it was a new wallet and i just bought it 2 days ago and since i was busy i didnt transfer my cards yet as i was planning to do it during my rest day though i can't do it anymore because of the girl, its payday so she thought theres plenty of money in it.

So glad that she did not get your money. It is a shame that we have to deal with such thieves and criminals like that these days. What are you going to do about it? Are you going to complain to your boss about the theft?

homeshoppers, I am glad she only got a small amount of money. I hate that she got your new wallet but at least it was not your entire check!

Actually she got the money but just small amount but i bought the wallet 2 days ago before that things happened, fortunately the big amount of money supposed to be for my apartment rent was in my old wallet and left at home so im also thankful i didn't transfer the money to the new wallet.

Good thing though you didn't put all your money in it.
If you are sure that it's only that girl who's near you the last time you saw your wallet, you can ask her if she saw it. I am not sure if you can catch on someone who's lying or not, but you can try putting the guilt trip, like how the wallet holds some sentimental value, or something like that. It is of course not an assurance that she will fess up or your wallet will turn up, but I don't think there's harm in asking.

It's a wake up call that's for sure. with the rise of so many criminals due to high poverty in our country, anything is possible. that's why we stop hiring maids, the last time, the maid was stealing a lot of stuff in our house. I think that will happen again because she didn't get that much on that new wallet of hers. she really has to be careful.

I couldn't think of other person but her coz shes just right next to me so im sure it was here since she also used to talk to me and i don't think other person will do it as if ever im sure she will notice it. She might think theres plenty of money in there coz its our payday and the wallet looks full and its due to so many coins it it

That is so sad, how much was in that wallet of yours? It's a hidden blessing for you because It would have been terrifying if you did loose that wallet with all of your atm cards in it. your still lucky, i think it's best if you don't expose your wallet in the table because it's gonna get notice by other people. besides, is the girl working there too? or just went around doing nothing?

Its only change for 500 pesos since i used the money to buy food for lunch, im so thankful coz i put my money in my old wallet and left it at home next to my laptop and the money supposed to pay for my rent is in there, so glad i didn't bother to put it in the new wallet including my cards coz i was lazy transferring it to the new wallet.
It was a busy hour at work and no one is walking around even janitors and if ever someone get near to my station im sure the girl next to me will notice it as others were not facing my table so im sure she took it. I put it out in my pocket thinking it might slip out while im sitting and put it on top of my coffee mug i really forgot about it maybe because that girl keep on talking to me until our shift ended so i even forgot i have the wallet with me, so stupid of me. As i really though i already put the wallet in my bag as i normally do. Probably that girl knows what shes doing. I hope bad karma will get back on her

that is so sad,even at work place we had this pressure of our items not only wallet getting stolen,but so many items but one fine day the culprit was caught,so i advice you to take up this seriously with management

Yes i will tell my boss about it so others will be aware that there's someone there with bad hands to make sure they will keep precaution to their belongings. Its really sad thinking its a new wallet i bough and i really love it that's i bought it even if i still have my other wallet. Looks like not a lucky wallet then

Good thing that its new and you don't transfer things inside your old wallet.
We should really take care of our personal belongings nowadays cause there are lots of people around who will always grab the opportunity to get it once we leave it unattended.

Yes your right, though i just cant imagine how people have the guts to do it inside work station with the co office mate, i mean are they not scared to be caught or something, i really hate her, she looks so friendly to me by talking at me maybe to get my interest to forget so i will not notice that my wallet is already gone.

Yes your right she might doing it before or probably in the future if she have he guts to do it once, i mean somehow it will become her addiction already, i just can't imagine shes doing it thinking i work hard for it and she knows how hard to get the money since we have the same work so she must know how hard to earned though it might be just small money involves but small money will still be big specially if you don't have other money with you to go home and i just bought the wallet i even kissed that wallet coz i really like it

Hi homeshopper! We should always take necessary precaution especially nowadays. There are many bad people who would take advantage of others for their own interest. We should always be mindful of our things especially in public places. It's good that you did not put all your money in that wallet. Especially the cards, you might have been in great trouble if your cards were stolen. Be careful next time friend.

Yes your right though i really cant imagine she can do as fast as that. I mean of course she right next to me so it will be easy for her to grab my wallet while others are doing their work since they are not facing towards me table. Next time i will not bring it with me, I normally didn't bring it inside it was just happened that day maybe maybe im excited coz i just bought my wallet.
