Lemon Therapy

Hello fellow myLotters! I have just started the Lemon Therapy this week as I learned from my colleagues. I drink the lemon extract first thing in the morning. Others are taking it on warm water. There are lots of references online regarding the benefits of Lemon Therapy. For those who are into it, please share your experiences too!

Heya bee :D i heard a lot about this lemon therapy too. But the only thing i remember is that it would help you lose weight :D

I know when I go to a restraunt, I drink ice water with lemon and it fills you up so you don't eat so much. It also doesn't make you feel stuffed or that bloaty feeling.

I heard that it cleanses your body. Maybe so, as long as your lemon water does not have sugar in it. I have done that before, and it is a refreshing drink.

Hi gloryacam! It indeed cleanses your body. It eliminate the toxins in your body by boosting the liver and kidney functions. I take it without adding water or sugar early in the morning. It's really refreshing!

To my understanding such therapy helps to wash out the toxic waste accumulated in the body while sleeping. One can try to have a spoon of organic honey along with lemon juice & drink plenty of warn water to get rid of excess fat to a certain extent. Any other food/ drink should not be taken for at least 45 mins after we practice this therapy. Drinking plain water around 1 ltr in empty stomach too helps to get rid of acidity problem & constipation.
