Should I upgrade to iOS5?

To all computer savvy mylotters, can you please help out a sister here? I have been ignoring the prompts of my Apple gadgets to upgrade to iOS6. I haven't installed it to any of it because I don't know what changes will happen. A quick trip to the Apple website described it in a very general manner and it sounds so good. But I have been hearing mixed advises from some friends about their regrets of upgrading; of course the others say they like the upgrade. My crowd is unfortunately not gifted with a computer-expert friend, all of us are like me who just know enough. for those who have actually upgraded, is it really okay? Do you think it is worth upgrading to the iOS6 or should I just stay at 5 for a while?

yeah you should.. there are few issues but core of iOS5 is much much better.. and ofcourse apple is not paying so handsomely to their engineers for making nonsense OS.. few issues will be solved in patches but there are many new features too.

Yes, as per my experience I still think the iOS5 is way ahead in that sense.

I recently read some of the issues like pictures sending problem, Message code 2114 error of upgrading to iOS6. Though, Apple says that iOS is up-to-date & fixes all problems but i think it could be up to iPhone 5 but not for Apple gadgets like 4, 4s or iPad. No doubt Apple has made available it for these gadgets but several users complain about various issues by taking iOS 6 upgrade. So, i think it would not be wrong to upgrade but before getting into this you should completely understand the pros & cons. There are two possibilities: maybe you will be happy or regret of it.

That's what I am also thinking, I mean iPhone 5 is just out coincidentally with iOS6. I have the iPad2, iPod touch and Macbook Air so I don't know if it will be wise to upgrade given that I don't actually have the latest stuff. I guess I will try it on the iPod first, lesser "damage" if ever it's a wrong move for me.

I think that you should update so you will have the latest fixes for your device and if you are having any problems as well they will most likely be gone
