So Frustrating Not Being Able To Upload Videos Onto My Profile Page

It's such a hit and miss thing, this uploading videos lark from YouTube onto my profile page.
Could it be a copyright issue with some artists, perhaps?
I dunno..but you're all missing out not just me lol.

Have you succeeded in uploading any html on your profile? Many of us are having trouble uploading anything at all there. I deleted what I had done earlier and had plans to upload some new stuff but now I cannot upload anything!

Did you remove the old sorties?
Since the glitch you must remove them and then add new ones.
Then (this has worked for several users) try adding three dots (...) before the HTML code and proceed as ususal.

I've deleted a sortie I did have but that didn't work. I shall do the dots thing now and I will let you know if it works.

The dots didn't work, unfortunately. In the past, changing browsers has actually sorted the problem out but it doesn't matter what browser I use now, the problem remains.
It seems I'm not alone though.

To my shame,I even could't upload a picture onto my mylot comment,by which I wanted to illustrate what the plant I had mentioned was like .I tried again and again at that time ,It ended up giving up.

Are you following the rules set by myLot:

"First, make sure the image you are attempting to upload is in a common format such as .gif or .jpg.
Next, make sure the filename is simple and short with no spaces or funny characters.
Next, make sure the file is less than 5mb. We do not allow images over 5mb.
After you upload the file, we compress the file further to a max of 256k. If the compression fails, the upload fails completely.
If none of these tips help, it's possible that the image is corrupted.[/i]"

Like you changjiangzhibin89, I've given up too so I reckon it's the site, not the people trying to upload stuff onto their profiles. Nothing to be ashamed of at all my friend.

Sorry, I forgot you meant PHOTOS and not videos. If you follow the guidelines shown above I'm sure you will get there in the end.

Something is definately not right there in our profiles though because it never used to be all this bother to get things to stay there
