It was a
bit surprising, that after he's marathon run for a bit this morning he just ended up running for the office.
Just like
Richard Gordon, am willing to hear his platforms in the issues at hand. otherwise, if it's just ranting and ranting, he'd be just another machine gun like the senator herself miriam.
actually, I wanted him to run before but he seemed very much likely the younger version of Maceda, but that's just me.
what do you think?

Well, Letran let's give him a chance to give us his platforms. I think , he can be a good senator indeed.
But that remains to be seen yet.

Hello Simplyd, yeah I would love to hear his platforms so that i would know how he can help our country and what laws he will be making. the candidates weren't really so promising, just another political dynasty clan. right now, even manny's family is on the rise to the level of political dynasty

At least Teddy would be a new one with perhaps new ideas not like those Trapos.
What the people need is eradicate those TRAPOS. It's time we have to try new ones with seemingly good hearts.

Just wait until you hear of the controversial Mr. Allan Bigcas, the one who was implicated in several smuggling and shooting activities. He is filing for the position of governor in his province of Bukidnon, being a resident of Talakag in the same province.

Hello rog0322, that's really something? I don't think casino will be able to stop him from filing his candidacy. I don't think he will stop running for the senate simply because of him, i think he will scrutenize him even though he's in his district. I will check on this persons profile, you never really know until you investigate.

We will see how will he fare in the elections right now. I think that two major groups have their candidates bared already and if Ted is running in one of these two big groups then he has a bigger chance of getting a seat. But I doubt it if he can survive the election if he is running as an independent.
I know Ted Casino is a bit of the extreme politicians that does not want to follow the norm in politics that is why I hope he could grab one seat so that the senate would have someone to check on their activities there.

Hello rsa101, Most of them are members of political dynasties and i think i had enough with most of them compare to Richard Gordon. but I will give this guy a shot in the debates and see how he goes answering in terms of solving the issues at hand for our country. I don't mind seeing new faces, as long as they give us credible answers.

Hello jazel_juan I am not sure about him, but he's a fresh one but we need to see him in those debates. even for Riza Hontiveros as well, kinda like seeing what she can do in the next forums. I might consider either of them or both if they have good platforms. have a nice day.

well him being a good senator will totally be seen if he wins the election, as for debates - there are a lot of good debaters in the Senate, well of course everyone is equipped with brains and the capacity for argumentation and debate.. but the true test will be on how they will be able to make a difference.. hope fully he will be one of those.

Hello Ybong007, yeah same here i might as well check his resume in wikipedia or the website of the congress itself just to know about his past accomplishments. well, we will see his accomplishments when the forum or debates comings before the election itself. people should know whom to vote

So Bayan Muna Rep. Teddy Casino will run for the senate. if I'm he will be the first independent senatorial candidate that has no affiliation with the administration and United Nationalist Alliance. Based on what I saw some says he is a Communist. I am not familiar with Rep. Casino I only saw him in some rallies. Running independent I think because he is not a choice to the advance majority's choice.

Hello Mrsuniega, That's a possiblity but there hasn't been a highlight on this guy, It's possible too that he's using the opportunity to sneak in. we should do our homework and research about him, let see what he has to offer just in case he goes into the debates. we will see how it goes, right now I am glad to see a new face in the senate race
