Why is no one interested in doing up the profile page at myLot?

MyLotters used to do up their profile pages but now very few are showing any interest in doing some thing on their profile page. I have put up a few videos and have posted some content. Earlier I used to see a lot of PTC ads,music audios and videos, but few now.Wonder why?
How do you make changes to your profile page?

I never had any advert on the profile. But yes, I had some good text about me, and also a music player embedded which played some of my favorite songs. All was seemingly fine. Then a couple of months back, mylot fell ill and they got everything I added removed. Now I am unable to put in anything there... Makes me sad as I always have been in favor of using the profile page for good

I added a few videos yesterday, it worked and then I added a post, that worked too.

Unfortunately, after reading your discussion, I did give a try but all I have now is a blank HTML add-in which neither gets any content nor gets removed... Let me also retry with clearing off the cache - it would be really great if I had my profile page customized again
It seems to work after the cache clearing... I have only changed the colors at the moment and also added an HTML sortie(though not with any meaningful content yet, but it worked)

I haven't done anything to put mine back together since the summer because I have been so busy doing other stuff, but I am going to update it soon, now that I have more time on my hands. I never had much luck uploading things, but I will be trying to because I actually have some pictures that I would like to show off. Some of the people on my friend list (yourself included) have a lot of things on their profile, and I enjoy looking through them when I have time.
I never thought about putting banners and things there-- I should probably take a look at how everything works on the profile sometime soon.

I should probably try that-- I belong to all kinds of cool sites. I have problems figuring out how to do things sometimes, but if I really look it over I will probably figure it out sooner or later. I am sure there is some kind of help FAQs for doing things here-- just haven't looked for it yet.
I also have to get around to starting a blog somewhere shortly-- heaven knows I have enough to put in one. I noticed there's a place for them on My Lot somewhere, so I will probably investigate that as well.

I tried customizing my profile page as well but it seem to reject my html that I wanted to paste on the custom html box.
So in the end. I can't do anything about it.

If you are trying to edit the HTML sortie it doesn't work. Add another HTML sortie, and try to put there. It worked for me. (I have 2 HTML sorties, one old and a new one.)
