EatBulaga's facebook against Netizens

Philippines

I have been following and liking the fan page of Eat Bulaga all the time since I begun to create a Facebook account. Today I noticed there are a lot of netizens who are posting comments against them specially to Tito Sen. As usual Eat Bulaga posts photos after their segment "juan for all...". Tito sen is there with Vic Sotto and Jimmy Santos with cute little Ryzza. In the comment section there are thousands who post like - "Tito sen is wearing BLACK" "No To Cybercrime Law" "Mahiya ka sa balat mo tito sotto" "wag iboto sa susunod na election" "from now on I don't watch EB cause cyber Sen is there" - these are just few of the comments. See even Eat Bulaga is now affected by the wrong move of Tito Sotto.

maybe because they can see the face of tito sen then they also remember what he did like the copying of speech and also about the cyber crime law. i dont think that eat bulaga should be unjustly judged but because their host is there and so they should accept that people will hate them too

yes you are right, tito sen is one of the major hosts in Eat Bulaga, so their target really is Tito sen not the show. We can't blame those angry netizens by posting negative comments against him. I may also add that one of the target of the hackers is the website of tito sotto. they really mean cyber war.

EB really has nothing to do with what Tito Sen did or have done and will be doing. The show doesn't reflect anything the host has to say or do. People doesn't have to hate the show because they don't like one of the hosts. I am not a fan of EB since I am a loyalist of ABS-CBN shows but eventhough I am not a GMA fan, I still don't agree with what others has to say to the show EB. They can say bad things to Tito Sen, but hopefully they won't include the show the senator is in.

I agree to the two of you EB has nothing to do with Tito Sotto's wrong move. Perhaps Filipino netizens found a closer way to comment about Tito Sotto since he is one of the institutions of EB. The show is just a victim of angry netizens.

Does this mean that shallow noontime show, running for thirty or more years exploiting young women into dancing almost naked, is finally getting the ire of those disgusted with nincompoops disguised as entertainment? I am not amused with this show, at all, and I do pity those who follow the show everyday in the hope that their lives would be better if they win in the various promos the show give. If you ask me, I do not wish to see the show on Channel 7 for another day. There are worthier shows wherein people could relate and learn ways on how to better their lives. That show might even be surprised that it was one of their own that would likely lead to the show's demise.

People can sometimes go overboard with their comments. Those were pictures for Eat Bulaga, yet they would hate it because of one man, Tito Sotto. Well, that is understandable if they are angry with Sen. Sotto. But please, should not include Eat Bulaga in their ire for Sotto.

I saw and heard in the news that hackers attacked government agency websites and one private account and that is the senator's Looks like netizens are really angry and are looking for something to vent their ire so it won't come as a surprise if it spills over to other places that are associated with him.

I am a fan of Eat Bulaga since the day I was conceived :) and I am against Tito Sen. However, that doesn't mean that I am not going to watch eat Bulaga ever again, although it may affect the show's popularity. Honestly, I am quite pissed when I see Tito Sen with Bossing and Joey. Maybe their staff and management would think of removing Tito from the show for the mean time.

I do not know about that but I think it is too exaggerated things are going there. I know the show EB has nothing to do with the Cybercrime law at all. I think this is not right to attack them just because Tito Sotto is working there as host. Well I just hope that EB wold be able to survive this onslaught against them dragging their show down.

Hello mrseniega, No, the show has nothing to do with the sotto's acts of adding the libel part on the Cybercrime prevention law. they should understand that this was his solo act and not the show. eat bulaga has proven legitimate show for decades, not copying every one elses tactics for jokes. unlike others who are trying hard

Well, he was popularly affiliated with the show and some people can be harsh when it comes to 'by association'. I cannot blame those people since Sotto himself admitted that he was one (or the one) who inserted that clause. Many netiznes are angry since the bill was okay except for that provision. In a sense, Eat Bulaga is a victim but the public (or netizens) has to recourse to someone or something to vent their anger out and the the bill is already enforced. Surely, the public shouldn't pay when some of their Representative don't even read their own laws or are caught doing the same thing before the passage of the law. Perhaps this time, the mob is right (regarding Sotto).

Pinoy Netizens are becoming too emotional and out of boundary. Eat Bulaga is not Tito Sotto, and Tito Sotto is not Eat Bulaga. My sentiment is for No to Cybercrime law but we must act decently. We must take our grudge against him in the ballot box and hope not to vote for another one like him in the future. We must learn our lessons.
