Gloria Macapagal Arroyo is now arrested again!

I was reading the Libre newspaper that is from the MRT. It is on the headline that GMA was arrested again due to plunder because of wrong usage of the fund from PCSO which was Php 325 million. The warrant was filed last Wednesday which was October 3. I was also surprise that the former chair of PCSO that is Sergio Valencia was also arrested. Because if I am not mistaken that chair is actually the husband of Tina Revilla if you still remember her as an actress and TV host in Lunch Date of GMA 7 during 80's. They are also our relatives but distance. We are seeing them during reunions so we were able to meet them already. I just knew that the chair is the husband of Tina because of this website http://www.mb.com.ph/articles/254934/on-top-heap (not a referral link). I really read it more than once to make sure if that is him who is being talked about that involves in arrest. I am now thinking of their condition right now and even check the facebook account of their children. Somewhat I am connected to them.
There are many cases that Gloria needs to face including the sabotage during the election.

I am no GMA fan, but whenever she learns of an impending arrest she suddenly falls ill
. I feel bad for the people linked with this new plunder case because they are the ones who will suffer badly and not Arroyo. For the misused PCSO funds, I don't know. The PCSO has been helping a lot of people, my mom included and her hospitalization wasn't cheap. We were able to get help with my mom's chemotherapy way back in 2009.
For people who think that one can still cash in on the charity of PCSO, you can't. They will just give you a guarantee letter with the amount of grant approved and you will give it to the hospital. We never really had any cash going through our hands with my mom's six chemo sessions that amounted to almost P1.5 M. And it is a tedious process.
I do hope your relatives get through this okay.

True enough that I have also experienced getting assistance in PCSO thru guarantee letters as well. I also admit that during the time of GMA the amount given to us was way much bigger than it is today. I still request from them from time to time and the amount they approved is very small already that I could not completely afford to buy the medicines needed by my mother so we try our best to buy what the GL can afford to pay us.
Going back to the case, as far as I know they are being charged for a big amount for transferring it to intelligence fund and some suspect it was used for the campaign of president arroyo's bid for a second term in her presidency. I have no question about PCSO helping many people but then when the funds are transferred to some dubious transactions that is another question that should be cleared up by GMA since I know she has knowledge about the transfers and everything.

Yes there were really many people being helped by the PCSO. I observed when I had gone to the former PCSO Office at E. Rod, that there were many people there who came for medical check up by doctors thereat and if there are prescriptions, they will go to the pharmacy within the PCSO compound for the free medicines. That is really great. There were also those who had patients at the PGH to get some sort of a paper for their obligation in the hospital.

that is good for here because she already have done many bad things in her administration,so she should pay it,so thankful because the new administration have now the power to investigate her and those what she did during her time as a president of our country.

Yeah, Gloria Arroyo is now facing many charges.
She is reaping the 'rewards' of her being then a President.
Too bad, the others who also got huge amount of money form they people are not yet charged!

This case is already pending we will just hope that your relative will be cleared from this. If ever he had done anything wrong maybe that was because he was under the order of the President at that time. Maybe when the money was transferred to the Intelligence Fund, your relative may have done that in good faith. He doesn't have any hand in spending the money in another fund.

I also heard that news. And I just feel pity for her despite of the things she have done. I hope that she could still have strength for all of the challenges in life she was going through. :)

I am no GMA fan, but let the justice ran it's course and we have no right to judge her guilty because until now all charges filed against her is still pending and until proven guilty by the court she still have her innocence under the law.

I think Gloria Arroyo may now be consider as the number one enemy of the Philippines. I'm also surprised how the case been made so fast, same as last year. She will run again this coming election that is why a lot of Filipinos are asking if she really is ill or not, and if she is ill why would she run again for next year. Course to be able to be a good leader I think you have to be physically fit,you should have a good health condition for you to be able to lead your constituents. Right?
