what are the best way to ease boredom...........

I am really bored this past few days, i really hate a literal routine everyday...wake up, cook, bath, duty, home,cook, laundry, eat, sleep same cycle everyday. when im off it will be cook, eat, internet, sleep. Its an advantage that i use to be in mylot since i love to discuss things but then i am afraid that i might get bored with this also.Your response guys really in need. Im planning to go to mall but then im afraid because im in a place wherein mostly people dont know english...help please...

I think that the best way to relieve boredom is to try and find a new hobby that you can start to get into. Whenever I am bored, on of the things that I do is to have a look at the activities that are on at the local leisure centre and see if there is anything that I would like to do. Usually there is something that I like the look of and I will sign up for something with a friend of mine. Another thing that you could do would be to try and learn a new skill, for example a language or how to draw. This might help you to be less bored than usual.

Snooze it out or do something you've never tried before. You mentioned that you're in a place where people hardly speak English,why don't you teach a friend or someone you know who is very much interested in learning a language. It is very fulfilling. I don't actually have time to get bored because I have so many things to do that 24 hours aren't enough. I like it when my hands and mind are busy , they spare me from ranting over things and I get oblivious about the nasty people around me. Get the most out of your life by doing something new.

I look on the internet for things to do, as there is usually nothing on the tv worth watching half the time. I look also for a hobby to do, there are some great things out there that we can find to do, also there are charitys that are looking for people to help them, either by making things or helping in many other ways.My friend use to knit squares to make blankets for a cats home and they were forever getting me to sew them together to make blankets. You can play bingo that is sometimes free on the internet and that is ok, but I got bored of that.

That's really boring. I could not make accurate suggestions as I haven't experienced yet in a place where most people don't speak english. Don't you have a dictionary english to the language used there? That may ease your lack of knowledge of the language. I guess from time to time, you can find some ways to ease your boredom.

It may sound a bit silly but meditation is a great way to get through boredom. I found this out the hard way when I was under severe depression.The process is really simple! Lie down on the floor or on a bed and be conscious of what is happening in your body.Picture your brain as it tries to relax,your breath as you inhale and exhale,the muscles of your eyes as they relax.There are any number of things you can do in this posture but the important fact is you will feel much better after a session of meditation.I can vouch for it and am an addict too.Whenever you feel bored try to meditate and this is a form of yoga known as Savasana.

I've been bored like that for a long time, my family here does things like that on a daily basis amounsgt having other odd behaviours and habits. I'm constantly in a rut with them here. I feel like some kind of miracle has to happen for me to afford moving out one day soon. I'm at my wit's end most days.

You can not say you are bored by all your efforts to keep your housekeeping finished good and useful for all.I think you just shuffle your daily chores,so that you would not feel the boring scenes everyday,then from time to time open your television to have some rewinding, then get back to your work.I think you would never get bored with it,to have some switching and insert some things between your chores,just to make you going all day long,until you just know that you have completed your task.

I guess when what we do falls into a routine, we eventually do get bored, regardless if we love doing those things. I think the others have said it right. Try to change the things you do every now and then. But there's one thing you could do which might not get you bored even if it's done daily. Exercise :) I mean, this activity helps release endorphins which tells our brain to feel good .

There is no better way than liking what one does. "Like what you do and not do what you like" We are all placed in situations where many a time we have no choice. The only way is to like what we are doing. If you can succeed there, life will be so beautiful for you. Added to that if you have any hobbies you can spend time there. You will then get a chance to 'do what you like'

Hello sherlysinguran! That is why I hate routines. =) I mean, ofcourse we have to do things in our everyday life. If I may suggest, why don't you make it different daily? Alter it. Maybe tomorrow, you should cook cook first before going to bath. I hope you get what I mean. Just make your routine different daily. interchange it. Try also to think of things that you're looking forward to so that your focus wouldn't be on what you are doing today. When cleaning for example, think that later on, you'll do mylot and maybe while cleaning or doing other chores, think of topics that you would like to discuss. Maybe you would like to read the discussions and think what is the topic all about. Something like that. I hope this will help. =)

I think you should go to your friend sometimes. Take time to be with your friends also so that at least you have someone to talk with and not spending your day alone. Go out also and go to the park if necessary.Outing or out of town can do also. Explore the nature and have fun outside.
