Drew Brees broke Johnny Unitas' record of 48 consecutive touchdown passes thrown in games. He did in the first quarter of the game tonight against San Diego. How fitting that it came against San Diego, the team that discarded him for the new shiny toy of Phillip Rivers. Since leaving San Diego, Brees has set records, won MVP and won a Super Bowl. What has Rivers done?

Well Philip Rivers has been to Pro Bowl but San Diego suffered from inconsistencies every season. Drew Brees was able to find a team that fit his skillsets and was able to lead that team to the SuperBowl
