Do you know Andrew Carnegie?

His name sounds familiar until earlier this morning I got to read more about him.
Andrew Cranegie (1835-1919) born in Dunfernline Scotland them moved to the US. He is a poor Scottish immigrant turned powerful industrialist, became one of the richest men of the nineteenth century—and one of the most generous man in history. He earned all his richness from hardwork and good choices in life.
At the age of his retirement, he decided to spend the rest of his life helping people. He concentrated on becoming a philantropist. He generous donations to cahrities, donated also to public libraries for expansion and created several institution for peace and the learning. He spread his wealth around teh US, making philanthropy his priority before he passed away.

Well, there are many rich people and also have done their part. As [b]commoners, we may not have such wealth to share BUT for sure we all have something that we can give or share — be it large or small. This would help in some way to make our world a better place in which to live.
It could be time, friendship, skill, talent, an extra penny or as simple a smile.[/b]
